TT: I must say well said to you, too. :) (I know--we should be proud of being unusual. Btw, by using that description of Frodo, i was partly thinking of a passage in the book--in Ithilien--where he's sleeping, and Sam sees an actual light shining thru him. I love that part--in fact, that was one of the things because of which i came to love Frodo.)
Earwen: When i clicked on that link, i squealed (over and over again) with blown-away-ness at the sight of the layout! :P (And Frodo. ;) ) lol, Meaning it's good. I hope you can get it up soon, and find a co-webmistress/-master.

Oooh, you're right, that's beautiful! I also loved that part (don't remember exactly where it was) where Frodo is sleeping and it seems to Sam that he looks like an elf, very noble and beautiful.

Lady Earwen: The layout is very pretty! Tell us when you have finished the entire site!

Now what are to talk about? *thinks hard*
Classic question: What would you do if you met Frodo? ;-)

As for me:... [s]Kiss him[/s].... I'm not sure if I'd dare to do/say anything at all

I thik I might be too stunned to actually say anything. What's this? My dreams coming true? But after I got over my shock I'm sure we'd sit down and have a good.......long............ conversation. :) *sigh*
I really don't know what I'd do until it happens.Which it is unlikely to ever happen. *double sigh*

I think you guys are talking about the part where Frodo is laying in bed, I forget if it's after he got stabbed by the witch King or destroyed the Ring. (so many brave deeds :), but an Elvish light does seem to shine around him, from out of him, and it's a really beautiful image.
Ahhh...... the many pleasures of Frodo.

Thanks Lady Earwen. I just wasn't sure. Either way it's a beautiful image/scene.
Best of luck to you on your website by the way. :) Definitely post when you get it up and running. Any website dedeicated to Frodo would definitely be worth seeing.

I think it happens in rivendell as well, but the time i was thinking of was in Ithilien, before they met Faramir. It was while Sam was making his soup. :)
If i met Frodo...well, i've written poems where we "meet" in dreams, but...i'm not sure i'd know what to do. It'd be a bit strange to come face to face with someone you've loved so long and so well, but i'd be very happy to meet my favorite character in [s]lotr[/s] the world.

Oh! *light dawns on me* I do remember now. There are so many wonderful Frodo scenes...... it's hard to keep them all straight sometimes. I do love that one though. LOL. I loved Sam in that one. Gotta love Sam. It's almost like he's the only one who loves Frodo as much as you do, you know? That's part of why I like him. But keeping on the subject of Frodo, it's my turn to ask a Frodo related question. Eariel asked what our favorite Frodo scene was, and Forever asked what we'd do if we met him. I feel I must add my own question, but by all means, everyone keep replying to their questions as well. I love reading everyone's answers.
So. My question: If you could ask Frodo one question, what would you ask him?
*sinister laughter* That's a tough one. That is, it's tough if you don't go with the whole "Will you marry me?" answer. :) LOL. I'm interested to see what you guys will say.

I'm tempted to write the good old classic "I love you" ;-). Wouldn't be bad anyway, would it? But I thought of something more romantic like "You don't know me, yet you have always been with me"... Bit cheesy, I know :-(

Aww. Forever. It's not cheesy, it's sweet! I'd send you one of those little hugging smilies right now if I knew where everyone was getting them....... Hey! I found them! LOL. I should have kn own they would be under View More Emoticons. I'm not as dumb as I seem sometimes. :) LOL. So here you go:
By the way Eariel, nice new Frodo and Sam banners. With very appropriate lyrics by the one and only, Evanescence. They're nice. Did you make them?

Yep. Thank you! I worked hard, and enjoyed making them.
A question? Hmm...Only one? :P Well, how about, "Can we get to know eachother more?" That way, i'd have time to tell him everything else on my heart. ;) (Like "I love you," lol. Btw Forever, that wasn't cheesy, it was poetic. :) Like what i might say.)
I agree, TT, it does seem that in LotR, at least, Sam is the only one who would really understand how we Frodogirls feel. (Btw, Frodogirl is what Maurwen basically means. You can see why i picked that surname, no? :P ) We should make Sam an honorary member of this club, lol.

I didn't know that! Are you fluent in Elvish? That's awesome! Frodogirl.
I agree that Sam should be a member of this club. He's certainly Frodo's most dedicated friend. for Sam.
And now I have another question (but by all means, still reply to the first one): Which scene makes you cry more and/or effects you more? The scene of Frodo and Sam at Mount Doom after the Ring has been destroyed, or the final scene at the Grey Havens? Just curious.....

I would have to say the Grey Havens. Still, it's close. I like both of them (thought the Mount Doom one is my fave of all time), and i've written more poetry about those two scenes than any others (i think).
Yes, I am...sort of fluent in Elvish. :P (Quenya is the type of Elvish i speak.) I have a long way to go to be, well, truly fluent, but i think i have a good foundation.
So if no-one objects, i guess Sam is our honorary member! :)

Frodogirl, that's sweet! I wish I could speak Elvish, but I somehow never find the time to start learning it

Hmmm, I can't really decide. I love both scenes to death and I just cry my eyes out when I watch them. They have both a kind of indescribable beauty in them. As for the Mt Doom scene, you're so glad that everything is over and you see this heartbreaking friendship that didn't even break in danger of death.
And the Grey Havens are so bittersweet; on the one hand you're glad that Frodo can find healing, but he has to leave his home and all he loves and, of course, SAM! Ahhh, that's so hard to imagine... :'(

I don't think I could do it if I were Sam. I would have never let him go from that hug. But then again, I guess I would have had too because i would want him to sail away to find happiness and not stay and bear all of his troubles in Middle Earth.
There is no way I can choose which one makes me cry more. Oh, but every time Frodo says, "I'm glad you're here with me Samwise Gamgee. Here at the end of all things," I lose it. Frodo. He knows just what to say to break someone's heart!
That's so awesome that you speak Elvish! Where did you learn? I've heard the courses at Ardalambion. com are supposed to be really good. I've always wanted to learn Elvish, but I never seemed to find the time. And I didn't want to get it confused with Spanish (the second language I take). But maybe I'll find the time one of these days. It would be awesome to be able to speak it.
Hooray for Sam! An honorary member of the Frodo club! :) LOL.

So true!

That's one of the many reasons why I love LotR. Not quite a happy end. It makes it so much more realistic. More like your own life.

That's a good point Forever. It wasn't exactly a happy ending, it was more bittersweet. And I think that does make it more like real life, because so foten in real life things end in a bittersweet way, and we just have to learn to sip the sweet and cast away the bitter and move on. Even though it's so hard. Sam was so brave! And he loved Frodo so much (Not in that way everyone who's disgusting enough to think that.). He loved him enough that he let him go. That took a lot.
Goodbye ForeverFrodo! Have fun! Come back safe! Miss you!
