hhmm..obnoxious? yes, he kinda is, but in a totally good and funny way! Jack is obnoxious because he chooses to anoy people...and I for one think it's hillarious! (although it is funnyer in CotBP than DMC)

It made it way easier for me to just watch the movie without feeling disturbed. The only problem being now I'm even more excited for AWE. Thanks  , and I'm glad that you can now skip parts that...disturb you...I think I shall be skipping that prision part myself...

Yep. I don't particularly like the prison part, it isn't very necessary to show some guys getting dragged along and eaten by birds...

What is the place? I never figured out has it got anything to do with the plot. maybe it's just to give a cool intro when Jack paddles in the coffin. couffin. ok, I dont know how it's spelled but anyway _________________  I revisited AU on Jan 14th after an almost 10-year break! The nostalgia..!

that bit made me laugh, and the music on the soundtrack is aptly named "i've got my eye on you." and theres a bunch of crows plucking eyes out...it really set up the atmosphere, im not really bothered by gross things so...i rarely use the remote except for sound

The point of the prison scene was to set up the story and provide a good bit of foreshadowing (Jack's coming out of a coffin? Nah...nothing's gonna happen to him...). The whole reason Jack was in that prison was to get the "drawring" of the key. It was originally going to just be a "get in, get out" operation, but complications arose, ensued, and were overcome (hence his rather unorthodox exit). It's basically just setting an overall tone for the movie.

neither am I, but I know it would turn off some people, so yeah.
Was anyone else bothered when Jack returned to the BP and Elizabeth held on to his leg in DMC? *Shudders* I DO NOT want a J/E ending.

that was weird, i can understand why she did it, but it never really felt like it gelled with the rest of the movie perfectly

How did we get *back* on this subject? well, I've already said that I am not a shipper at all, but I also think that Lizzie should stick with Dear William...

She didn't have to grab his leg, there was a rail nearby that would've done just as well. But I LOVE the music when she looks up and sees him.
