I think we may have discussed it a while back, but no harm in a little repetition  Personally, I don't think W/E would play a huge role in a fourth movie. The audience wants to see Jack, really, and there isn't a whole lot more to say about W/E. Maybe a bit of a cameo, but not as much as they have been. That's what I'd say, anyway. _________________

Yeah. Orlando's saying he's "getting too old". For pity's sake, the man's turning 31 in a week! 31 is not old! Johnny's 44 and we don't see him complaining! And Bill Nighy, Stellan Skarsgard, Geoffrey Rush, they're all doing fine, and they're in their 50's! I would be disappointed if there was no Willabeth part, but there's not much more they can do with them. Well, to make a fourth one, they'd have to jump back ten years, first of all. And if there was no Willabeth and it was mainly Jack, they should probably change the title.
I don't want them to wreck POTC for me! I can't believe the words are coming out of me mouth, but I hope they don't do a fourth. There's not much they can do with the story. They kind of tied up the Willabeth plot, which was a major part of the story.

don't feel bad, Millie!  I am TOTALLY against PotC 4 and I'm still a BIG fan of the trilogy. They have a good ending as it is... there's no need to go on and take a chance on ruining the whole trilogy by forcing this movie.  and, personally, they should change the name if it's an all Jack story... not to mention, to me, a story all about Jack sounds... well, dull.  I didn't go to the theater to see only Jack and I don't watch the movie only for Jack. If I watch something to do with Pirates I want it to have ALL the Pirates cast in it.  Now if they made one that took place BEFORE CotBP... that would be different.  If it told the story of Jack and Beckett and Jack and Barbossa... you'd get the same sort of effect, just in a slightly different and not so un-PotC-y feel.

Aye, I agree with you two!  They can call it "The Adventures of Jack Sparrow" if they want to, but Pirates of the Caribbean without Will and Elizabeth is like...the Three Stooges with only one of them or something!  I dunno if it's just my prejudice for those two, but I can't think of POTC without thinking of the Three - Jack, Will, and Lizzie. It would be very sad to have another movie without those two, indeed.  _________________

Exactly! It's like a beanut butter and jelly sandwich. Is the bread good on it's own? Does anyone like eating peanut butter just by itself? Does anyone just randomly take spoonfuls of jelly and eat it? No. XD Likewise with Jack, Will and Elizabeth.

Thanks for the back-up, Anie and Millie. And I don't know if it's really a prejudice toward Will and 'Lizabeth, Anie... it just seems like common sense to me. I mean, PotC is and always has been those three (although now, to me, it seems like the others in the cast make up a big and rather needed part too  )... doing it without two of them is exactly like what you or Millie said about the Stooges or the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches *shrugs* (and, btw, I LOVE that example, Mil! It's just perfect! Right down to a T!)

you know what's weird and neat and might be sorta silly sounding? My brother has semi-joined KTTC and they're smart when it comes to AWE and the Willabeth ending!  it almost (just almost ) makes me feel dumb... anyway, enough of that, but really some of what they said makes you think... and my brother and I were mulling over what they said and we thought of something (to put what they said with what we thought up ). Well, the green flash when Will LEAVES Elizabeth in AWE means someone comes back from the dead... what if that was like all the people who didn't want to serve Will or remain on the Dutchman or what if.... it was Norrie in some long stretch of chance and some way!  and what if Davy could come back through that too (only like he was before Tia)? in human form? And then a fourth Pirates where Davy, Elizabeth, Jack, Barby, and Norrie have to do whatever... what fun. Ok, so now I'm getting random and rather silly, but still....  and also another thing to prove that Will IS alive after ten years... the green flash. It only happens when someone comes back from the dead, remember. So I dunno if there are KTTC members who are members here too but whatever... they're smart over there. And I loved reading how they tear out that stupid Q&A page (saying that Will is bound forever) that came with the DVD and they burn and shred it! I think I need to do something like that! Stupid Disney, stupid Q&A!!!!  Let it burn!!!!!
