Fencing Maiden, Kelenloth, and Tar-Jarrah- It was indeed Tia Dalma who brought Barbossa back from the dead (though we aren't told exactly how she got his body and how she resurrected him, probably a couple of things we'll find out in AWE) . If you pay close attention to the scene when Jack, Will, and the crew first go to Tia Dalma's shack, you'll see two very revealing things: (1) When Jack first walks in, he picks up a hat that looks uncannily like Barbossa's, and (2) when Tia Dalma lets the monkey out of his cage, he runs into a room and jumps up on a bed, where you can just see a pair of boots sticking up that look a lot like Barbossa's.

Oooh, I noticed the first thing, but I just now realized those were Barbossa's boots! Aaaah, cool!

Tar: Aye, Barbossa is my favorite character too [uncanny] but... I don't like Tia Dalma much. From spoilers I've read, she's going to um, have a major character change. And I think, although I'll still like her for the stories sake, the character itself won't be among my favorites.

On an entirely different note; I've been looking for pictures of the PotC cast in a group... any idea where I might find some?

NEWS

It is now confirmed that the AWE trailer will premier with "Dancing With the Stars" March 19th at 8:00 EST. It's a two-hour series premier, and the trailer will show at some point during the commerical breaks. ADDITIONALLY, the official AWE website is now online with a countdown to the world-wide release of the trailer. Currently all it has is the countdown and the code for a player (which I HIGHLY recommend taking; read more details on the site), but it will be updated with the release of the trailer and have many more goodies (so they say).

Yeah, I don't really like Tia Dalma either, she kinda bugs me...but Barbossa! yay! as my friend says:"Hell itself spat him back out!" lol.

Hey! I had a question..I've seen somethings *stares at Tar's Never-ending Banner* that say 'Hector Barbossa'...so, what? is his name Hector or somthing? where did that come from? I never quite got that...

The name Hector Barbossa is an example of fanon (click for definition). Quite a while ago, Johnny Depp made a joking comment to someone about how Captain Barbossa's deepest, darkest secret was that his first name was Hector. The name got out, it spread amongst the fans, and the fans liked it. It's never officially appeared in any of the films, so it's not 100% canon, but we've been given no other name, and the writers have never said it wasn't his name, so "Hector" has just sort of worked its way into the PotC fandom as Barbossa's (un)official first name. It's the name you'll see in any fanfiction (if the author did his/her research) and probably any marketing products that bother to include a first name, but unless it appears in a film, it'll never be officially canon.

Ok! Thankies potr! thats awesome...it would be really awesome if they put it in AWE, but even if they don't it's good to know he has a first name..Jhonny said that? hhmm.. I wonder what he thinks of how well it cought on?
