Well, I'm depressed because a number of things:

-One of my friends is really bothering me. She is all over dramatic and likes to pull people aside and hog them when we get together.

-Well...actually two of my friends do that. I had four people over...one friend each took one away...do the math: Me is alone.

-One of my friends lives next door and she was at my house. She picks up the phone and it's the friend she pulled to be with her last night. She talks to her and hands the phone to her bro (all friend of friend on phone), but never even asks me if I wanna talk to her. Hangs up before I get to. Is it just me, or is that completely rude? I was even standing there waiting to talk to her....It's not even her house for god's sake!

-I am way to nice to the above friend. The guy she's majorly crushing on is crushing on me. I opted to not go to the dance becuz I was afraid that he would ask me to dance and completely break her heart. I heard the dance was a lot of fun too. And my repayment? Read above statements.

*is depressed* No one cares about me.

Awww... these people aren't worthy fussing over. Well, maybe - but they are completely rude and immature and should never put a person down like they have done in your case. I've went through most of the situations you described and it ended up with fighting and yelling; not pretty but it helped me.
Anyway.. *we* care about you, Sammy! But I know it's usually a little comfort to know that. :/

I think I should join I'm not constantly depressed, but I can get depressed very, very easily. Like now. Every time I'm in a huge crowd of people and it seems like they all have their own groups and friends, I get depressed. Not that I don't know anyone myself, but I never feel comfortable going up to people I know who are sitting in a group, and forcing my presence on them (come on, if you say "Mind if I sit down?" who's actually going to say "Yes, I do mind" even if they really don't want you there?).

And then I ended up asking the-guy-I-used-to-really-like-but-who-is-now-a-jerk if he hated himself (it was, in a way, a joke, because he had finished class work faster than everyone else, and people were complaining about it, and he cracked that he hated people who finished that fast...hence my snarky comment), and at first I was kind of proud that actually said it instead of <i>thinking</i> of saying it...but now I'm just depressed that he's turned into a jerk and is in a relationship with some annoying girl from his dorm.

Yeah.

I know how you feel about the group thing. -_- I used to belong to one bic clique, consisting in the beginning of four nerds (me, a girl, two boys) and then somehow it expanded to 15 people (:blink:) - preps, high society, drunkards, emos... I actually was the only nerdy-good-girl. And I couldn't get along with them. They made me start drinking and planned to get some marihuana but I had enough as I couldn't stand their immatureness and I broke up with them. We haven't really talked for several months though two persons from the group are now my classmates.
Gah, I'm advicelss at the mo'. Wish I was of any help...

I know what you're talking about with cliques and everything though- they drive me crazy. And if you're not in someone's "clique", they treat you like dirt. It's all just very stupid and immature.

I used to care about how people would see or consider me but that seems to have changed oer the summer.. =P I don't even care anymore if I say something totally stupid (though I blush at that haha) and therefore ruin any chances of getting into teh f@ncY cLiqu3 (couldn't resist) and as I mostly hang out with losers... I prefer 'losers' over preps.
