Because it sounded cute. I only called him Bacon when he did something bad. The rest pf the time he was just Sir Francis.

You have real piggies? Lucky you. I wish I could have real ones too, they're too cute.

In fact, my father turned me into a pig-lover. When I was very young, his favorite animals were pigs and so I got to love them too

I can remember a really sad movie about a pig...the nurse of my grandfather told us about it, he knew how I loved pigs, so my parents and I went to a movie called "Ein Schweinchen names Babe" (A piglet called Babe). He said it was funny, but I was shocked when I saw it...I cried my eyes out over the whole movie (and I still have to cry when I see it)

At the beginning we could see how Babe's mother was brought away to the slaughterer. Babe himself was brought to a fair where a farmer won him. He came to a farm and was kind of adopted by shepherd dogs. Later, he wanted to be a shepherd "dog" too and did it becoming a "shepherd pig". But a cat on the farm told him what is the use for a pig to humans, so he ran away and nearly died. In the end he made it to a competition of shepherd dogs where the others first laughed at the farmer and the pig, but they stopped laughing, as the pig won the competition. All in all it was the saddest and cutest movie I've ever seen, but it was mostly sad to me.

Aha! I think I saw that movie...but...a REALLY long time ago...O.o

I loved the new Charlotte's Web movie. ^^ But it made me wonder...when the original book was written, did they really LIKE fat pigs? At our local fair, the fat pigs NEVER win...they want lean, kind of muscular, and just a bit of fat...O.o
