I'd LOVE to join! I'm a complete font freak. I love Gothic, Celtic, Swirly, Romantic and Script-like fonts the best (but all fonts rock!).
My current favorites are Cezanne, Jane Austen, Jellyka Castle's Queen, Xirwena, Love's Labour, Tycho's Recipe and Tagettes (which is the one used for my glitter siggy).

@Enno: for my dedications, I use Silkscreen. It's in all caps already, which is handy when you screw up the capitalisation on people's names, as I do rather oftener than I'd like. O, and I set it to 8 or 9 usually.
it's so awesome to have a bunch of people as weird as I am. It makes me squee inside.

I thought I was alone in my font obsession, haha.
People always look at me funny whenever I see titles on TV (be it commercials or shows) or in films and sit there snickering because I know the name of the font they used.
Like "oo is that Cezanne I see there?". XD

Oh, I didn't even realize you had started this club. Can I please join?
I am a font geek in the extreme. My brother says I should major in it. My friends are sick of me closely studying their t-shirts and bumper stickers and announcing the font title. My parents are sick of me calling out font titles on the menu in restaurants, or on the bumper stickers of cars in front of us. I will never forget watching Spiderman 3 for the first time - did anyone else recognize the font that the restaurant Peter took Mary Jane to used on all its stuff?
My current favorites are Porcelain, Violation, and Windsong. I found Violation thanks to Ara, and I started using Windsong at SilverRose's recommendation.

Of course you can join, my dear Tariel! No, I didn't notice that! I'll have to go check it out soon. At least, I don't think I recognized that font.....I'm not sure. lol
I recommended Windsong? I had no idea I did that. haha I love all of your current favorites because those are some of my select favorites, too!

I voted for Ambulence Shotgun, even though I use Violation more.
Does anyone ever consider making their own font? I was taking notes in school today, using a super-flowy inky pen (I am in love with super-flowy inky pens, lol) and I blinked, then thought to myself 'Wow, that illegible looking handwriting would be awesome on graphics." I also regularly look at other people's handwriting and wish to turn it into fonts.

I wish I knew how to make fonts... I'd make way too many, methinks, if I did, though. I think about it when I see my handwriting or whenever I draw letters.... it's actually scary how much I think about fonts.

^Hah, same here... I think there's a special program you can buy that is designed for font-making. But I remember it cost a LOT of money, and Ara doesn't have too much, so that program is a no-no.
I think I'd specialize in grungy fonts.. I do love them so <3

Hola hola
I'm just curious and lurking around. I couldn't help but vote on the font and I voted for Ambulance Shotgun, partly because of the name.. no, sorry, of course that's not true, but isn't it just the coolest name!
I know I'm not a member so disregard my vote if you want! And by the way, when would anyone ever use a font like Ambulance Shotgun?

^ That's why I voted for Violation. I love the other one, but I can't see myself ever using it.

A font called Violation... how could I ever take that seriously??
Aramel:: What's a .. grungy font?? Gosh, I feel newbie-ish.
PD:: There is such thing as a Jane Austen font?? Sweet heaven, has my life been dull and meaningless until I found out... what does it look like?
