Do you know brian singer wants to make a superman vs. batman movie. I wonder how the actors would feel about that... it's like my two fave super heros against each other... i dunno, i don't think i'd like it. I wouldn't mind seeing brandon in another movie (he's hot) and CB's a great actor, so they'd balnce each other well. it would make for good watching and bad press i think.

Meh, a superheroes-against-each-other movie would be a little...odd. I mean, they're both fighting to protect the people, right? So why would they go head-to-head?

I doubt CB would be a drunk because I read that he doesn't eat red meat and is an environmentalist, and is also married with a kid, and those things put together usually don't go hand in hand with alcoholism.

Awww I'd love to join I've had a crush on Christian Bale since about 1987 or so, when I first saw the film "Mio in the Land of Faraway" (based on the book "Mio My Mio/Mio My Son" by Astrid Lindgren). Back then he looked like this:








The film even features Christopher Lee as the evil Kato


Now watching it, it's not an uber-great film in terms of special effects but back when it came out that's what all movies were like basically. I watched it all the time growing up so it'll always have a special place in my heart

Oh, btw, in Equilibrium he's totally unscruffy, if that matters to anyone. In fact his hair is slicked down so much that combined with his wearing black all the time and his extremely pale skin and high cheekbones, he looks rather like a vampire. Still, there are some flashbacks where he has cooler hair *finds* http://www.intheclover.com/gallery/disp ... =10&pos=50 not the best shot, but you can see how it's all curly and medium-length

It's very rare to find it nowadays. Of course the book is ten times better but the film is very good nonetheless. The film is an English production but has based the film on all the original Swedish names of the characters, so if you've read the American edition of the book the names will be different to you.

I own it on DVD Mine is a Korean edition (I believe.. or maybe Chinese) because the Swedish DVD only has the dubbed version unfortunately (which is really strange since we never dub films here in Sweden unless they're kids movies and even then they put both versions on the DVD). Your best shot is to search on eBay. It's no longer available on Amazon.com. Search for "Mio in the Land of Faraway"!

As a side note: almost ALL of Astrid Lindgren's books have been made into movies here in Sweden, they're all absolutely excellent
