Funny thing is, I was rooting for the Indians. I just want the Yankees to lose which I think a lot of people want. Me in particular since I am a Red Sox fan and Yankees are our biggest rivals. It was a little buggy out on the Indians field yesterday wasn't it? That must have been hard to play. Hell, all of Red Sox Nation was rooting for the Orioles not to long ago either. With the Yankees losing that game, it made us AL East Division Champions. To put it simply, we'll almost root for anyone that plays against the Yankees. XD So far, we've won both of our ALDS games.

As are the Indians---they've won both of theirs so far as well.
I just really really really want the Indians to win the World Series this year because they haven't won one since 1948, and their record has been great this year and they've been through so much and the team is made up of such great, honest, hard-working guys that they would deserve every bit of it if they won.
I know it's all's fair in love and war but the Boston Red Sox has already won the World Series in 2004, and the Yankees have won it in 2000, so I just feel like 2007 is the Tribe's year. And it would mean a lot to me as a big fan to see them through it this year.

We shall see. I think both teams will be playing against each other anyway. They are winning, we are winning, it's all possible but who knows how it will turn out.

Referring to your Red Sox vs. Yankees rivalry. I think the Yankees have basically a rivalry between every American League team, so it's okay. There's more things to be worried about than the Yankees.

Well, they are biggest rivalry but I do see your point. No one likes the Yankees and I don't think are really going to make much farther in this series since they have lost their first two ALDS games and possibly will be knocked right out of the playoffs. They're a team that has no class anyway.

What do you mean by "no class"?
Yeah, I'm not too worried about the Yankees seeing as though they came to the playoffs by the wild card.

*sigh*
This is always the time of year I want to be at my grandparents. Away from there I have absolutely no clue about what's going on in the Baseball world because we don't watch TV, but my grampa watches baseball all the time.
*misses baseball*

One, we don't have cable, and two, even if we didn, I doubt we could get it on the other side of the world.
That's okay, we'll be in the states again (hopefully) before another year has passed and I can watch some again.
But I like playing best... shortstop is probably my favorite position, but pitcher is pretty fun when my throwing doesn't go amiss.

I think playing first base would be pretty gun, either that or pitcher.
I would hate to be the catcher though---argh, I envy everyone who can be a catcher.
I hope you come back to the states soon.
Okay, I have to get this out. The thing I like MOST in baseball, in ANY sport, is sportsmanship and humility.
I don't feel as though the Red Sox has that, which is why the connotation of the team for me is very negative. I know there are some great guys on the team, but others like Manny Ramirez, Ortiz----they don't do it for me, they're very arrogant, and you're allowed to be proud, you're allowed to feel good about yourself, but the level or arrogance with those two just makes me so very angry. Ramirez, Ortiz----LEARN SOME HUMILITY.

My brother often plays first base.
Yeah, that's about the only baseball I get to watch. Little League baseball that makes you want to pull your hair out because the kids can be so stupid sometimes... I mean, they were throwing the ball to first after the guy had been there for a while, while there was another guy only halfway to home...
That's one thing I hate about playing sports... it's okay sometimes, but when people get really competitive and forget it's just a game - I guess in ML it's more than just a game for them, though, but still - and then it isn't really that fun anymore.

Aww, but Little League's for the younger ones to just have fun and be active. I love watching littum's play!
Ah! Cleveland won against the Red Sox, again. I'm so proud of my boys. And I'm so happy for them. I hope they keep the streak up and have the shot to win the World Series. The Game 1 was disappointing but what do you expect? It's Beckett, he's a fantastic pitcher if not a little arrogant. The second game, it was seriously a pitcher's duel. Carmona vs. Schilling and I love Schilling, I do but it was the battle of the bullpen and Indians bullpen won out. They did a fantastic job and they deserved the win. Jensen Lewis, Betancourt, Mastny, Borowski. Amazing. I love my boys.
Now, Game 3 was a lot closer in score and Borowski definitely deserved the save. Go Veritek and Lofton for the homeruns!
