Who else absolutely loved the part in PC when Ed got to smash/re-kill/shatter the Witch? And yes, the Eustace/Edmund interaction is going to be so awesome! :-D
Anyone have that countdown yet? :bounce:

To December 2nd? 77 days.

Yes, I loved Ed re-killing the Witch! Such poetic justice.

What I want to see is how much Skandar changes. I mean, he went from boy to almost-man between LWW and PC... what's he going to look like in VotDT?

I'm shallow.

Psh, not at all. I think the same. I mean, he was sooo cute in TLWW but in a little boy way. Now he's getting older and... :swoon:

*coughs* Yeah. Back on track...

Poetic justice is right! That was a great scene, and totally caught me by surprise! In fact, quite a few things in PC that they differed from the movie in I loved... which is rare, since I usually hate changes. But you almost can't go wrong with anything Edmund. And he needed more attention than he was given in the book.

^lol, amen to that, FM!

I loved when Ed got to kill Jadis. And then when I found that scene on YouTube the other day it was... "squee-fest"

ooo, and hurray for the countdown! I had one going a while ago but then I had to take it out of my siggy (siggy space reasons. ;)).... but actually it's not quite as far away as I thought it was... and that means that Christmas is only 100 or so days away!

anyway, I really can't wait for VotDT! :swoon: The Edmund and Eustace stuff in the book was some of my favorite parts and since Skandar plays, like, the perfect Edmund I have a feeling that VotDT will be the best Narnia yet... hopefully. :D I have my hopes set on it. At least it's probably one of my favorite books...

Well, obviously, we'd be talking about how awesome Wheel of Time is. :eyeroll:

Alright, alright. Edmund it is. Yes, I really can't wait to see what he's like in VoDT. Man, I so wish Skandar was just a few years older though. It would feel less awkward. :D

You have my sympathies, darlin', although I can't say I know how you feel as Skandar's almost a year older than me... :)

^ditto that... I'm sorry for you, Nurrshey... :( personally, though, Skandar and I are practically the same age so just like Pada I can't exactly say I know how you feel... :erm:

anyway, yesterday my mom and I went to the grocery store and guess what? We found Turkish Delight! and we got it... and it's really, really good! Yummeh! lol I've always wanted to try it so it was sort of exciting to find it. :P

Turkish Delight is super yummeh! It's a sort of gelatin, covered in powdered sugar... it's hard to describe the exact taste, other than to say it's quite sweet, because tis pretty much pure sugar. :eyeroll: grr. now I want some. :P

Huzzah for reviving the club from thread doomness. xD

Ah, well I'd guess Skandar is older than me as well. Aha I envy you guys, I want Turkish Delight now. And I haven't eaten breakfast so the craving is much worse at the moment.

^sorry to hear that, Nel! we actually have some Turkish Delight leftover still. *offers her several*

anyway, yep, Gilly, that's about how I would've described it... only instead of powdered sugar ours is covered in corn starch. You can't really taste it, it just adds some texture to it. :D anyway, I just want to say that I can see how Skandar got sick from/of eating it while filming that scene! lol It is rich... and sticky... yum! :D

You know, I've kinda lost my appetite for Turkish Delight, since I was most likely poisoned from it.
