Well, that can't hurt, you know - there's a sad imbalance of female characters to male ones in the vast majority of RPs! Female pirates, female Dunedain, female warrior elves (ahhh! Not the Mary-Sues!:hide:). I mean, not that it's bad, but it's not entirely realistic, and I'm always wishing there were more guys. *Points to Raven Sparrow in the Second Chance at a Dance RP* I mean, look what happens! HOW many charries do you have in that one, Raven? Like, eight or nine?

It does kind of get on my nerves when there's female Dunedain. That is even more annoying than female Warrior Elves/Mary Sues. The Dunedain are men. Grrr. (no offense, all you ladies of the AU forums)

Hence the name "Men of the West", eh? I know how you feel :)

I feel as though I'm in a rut as far as character development goes....no more female elves for me! You can't make every single one different and they're too numerous as it is. But I don't know what else to do...I need a new LotR character and nothing I try is really working out too well.

I play whatever is needed. Usually the one that has an eccentric personally if the others are normal and I'll play the calm one if everyone is eccentric. ya know? I like to be the one that is opposite from all the other characters to balance things out. lol.

If I play a girl in a roleplay, I have to play at least one guy, sometimes more. :P

Can I join?
I play mostly male characters though I will play female characters occasionally. I mostly play villians (because the personality is so awesome, compared to the save-the-day hero (ugh!)). Occasionally I will play a tragic or anti-hero.

My characters are usually good. A few of them are sour and mean, but none are really evil. Maybe I should have an evil character.

I should try an evil character. That'd be fun. Except everyone would be out to kill me. lol

Edit: I just remembered, I'll be playing the bad guy in the Kidnapped RP!

I do have a few markedly evil characters and I do play villians sometimes. Most of the time I play... I wouldn't exactly call them evil... just ruthless and tormented... antiheroes. And at the moment I only have one active female character. Been playing males for so long that rping females seem unnatural.
