same here. I like to be the human out of all the other magical creatures, or the guy or what not, it gives the RP a little more... hmm, diversity?

Lol, I tend to go for calm, precise characters....playing an eccentric character is actually pretty hard for me, because I always forget I'm doing it and then drift back towards a calm personality, which makes for some pretty inconsistent role-playing.
Meldawen, I think I know what you mean about being in kind of a rut....that's why recently I've been trying to make my characters have different styles (I'm RPing for only the second time as an axe-wielding character, for instance), sometimes going for the strong, slow guys over my usual average-strength-really-fast guys. It's not a huge difference, but it does sort of help to get out of a rut.

^average-strength-really-fast guys are my thing. I don't have a single warrior who wields an axe and is more brute force than agility. another type of fun character are the ones there for comic relief... in other words, the idiots. I'm having a grand old time on Land of the Past with Alex and Jimmy (Pip's character).

nope that was more of a side character I believe. I'm talking about another, newer rpg.

Yeah, you guys are a priceless pair. Which annoys my charrie...who is super-responsible and picky (hmm, reminds me of someone...oh, myself...).
I've also discovered that I really enjoy RPing PotC characters, any and all of them except perhaps Jack, who in my opinion is already played flawlessly by Pip

I find I don;t really like to RP PotC. I just don't get into it.

I tend to not enjoy being in RPs with canonical characters being played by rpers. Most of the time, whoever's playing them doesn't do them justice. You're doing really well with Jack, though, Pippin, so my congratulations to you!

Lol, Mornie. That's one of the reasons I chose not to play a doctor...it's a lot harder to rp than a soldier.

Pippin's the best Jack rper I've ever met... but then again, she's the only Jack rper I've ever met
it's always easy to play the warrior characters. I always have to exhibit more effort and intelligence when playing mages.

Jack has that effect on people, I find. I always laugh at Gibbs in all the scenes between him and Jack, he seems so utterly bewildered half the time. I love Gibbs.

Lol, Lady Dark Moon, I have a really hard time when I'm playing Mages - playing a person who's much wiser than I myself....it's hard.
You really find it easier to play a doctor, Mornie? Wow...
