OMG! Total join!
I almost died from anti-climax after Dumbledore dies... It was so non-epic and not Snapey enough Deh Saira was very upset. I always imagined Snape really angry at that part - angry at Harry and Dumbledore and the world. Life was very unfair to him and he'd never had any recognition and now he could rub in Harry's face... Does that make any sense?
But the Slug Club and with Malfoy - really loved it. Tom + Allan = too much amazingness

That makes perfect sense, this was to be his big moment. Snape's final show before he has to go into complete Death Eater mode. Now I am not sure if I am making much sense.
Yes, the Slug Club was brilliant and I cannot mention enough how much Alan's pauses added to Snape's character... BRILLIANT!!!

^ Totally! Total Death Eater mode makes so much sense...
But I also feel that its really personal. Like... Okay. Its all James' fault that Lily grew apart from him and Harry is just like James. And James made his life miserable and all. And then Harry came along and used his amazing textbook to become brilliant at Potions which he wasn't. And then he had to kill Dumbledore because of Harry - if Harry had just died and Lily had been spared his life might have had some reward in his eyes - the woman he's loved through all the years. Its actually really sad. -huggles Sev- Poor guy.
But what Im trying to get at is that its all a chain of events... Most of them unpleasant for Snape. Im totally failing at saying this

YES! That's what I was trying to say. Exactly.

Cissy should have been practically hysterical with fear and worry for Draco, whilst Bella was meant to be telling her sister about how much of an honour Draco had been given. I partly agree. I absolutely didn't liked Narcissa's performance in the scene. Also, I think the scene was too short and rushed. The movie had just started, the audience haden't had time to get into the movie yet and then they throw such an important scene like that. And Snape didn't get much time at all. I know, and like I said in the HBP movie thread, I really liked Helena Bonham-Carter's performance. She was solely responsible for creating the tensed and solemn atmosphere fitting for an Unbreakable Vow - since the other two actors didn't get a chance to add much to it...
Nurry:: True the numbers of the Snape-y-teers are growing! Rejoice!
Saira:: OMG, I can't believe you haven't joined earlier either! You've got so much to make up for now! Welcome among the Snape-y-teers!

Im such a big fan of the sisters that I was totally disappointed. I didn't like Bella's performance at all. It was taunting and childish. The Unbreakable Vow is a really big deal and the whole thing was kind of shrugged off. I liked Snape's hesitance though... Narcissa = die. Awful really. No proper emotion, no motherly concern, no histerically worried acting. Rubbish. And what was up with the hair? She looked like a badger. Or was it a skunk?
I think that this scene is so huge for both Narcissa and Snape in terms of character development. We find out that Narcissa is a worried, caring mother and Snape is (surprise surprise) not the heartless uncaring **beep* we knew so well. He does this because he wants to do something good for the sake of being good and not for any gain. Because Snapey is like that -hugglesmooches-

I LOVED THE SNAPE SCENE!!!! LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED!!!!
Billowing black cloak FTW!!!
I'm looking so much forward to Snapes death scene - and fearing they might ruin it. I DON'T want a cheesy scene.. he still hates Harry.. even though he's dying...

It lives again!
What's your favorite Snape scene? Or thing about Snape? Or whatever?
Ea: I KNOW, RIGHT? WHEN HE'S ALL BILLOWY AND LIKE "I'M TOO COOL FOR THIS GATE."
Wow...I don't know where that all caps came from. I think I'm a bit loopy. Way too much homework on the brain.

I really liked him during the occlumency lessons. It showed a vulnerable Snape and was heart-breaking...

I always liked how he still loved Lily, even though she married James. :]
As far as favorite scenes go...I've only seen the movies once each. (we only own HBP) He was pretty awesome in Goblet of Fire though.

OMG! Can I join? Pretty pretty please?
I have far too much love for Snape at the moment.. All my fan-fiction writing is helping to fuel the obsession even more.

Yay, new members.. more people up for some Snape-lovin'
Nurr:: LOL, you're so right... and all caps is only appropriate... someone should make a banner with That Billowing Black Cape!!! I loved it when the forum was going all Snapey back in fall.. and OMG Phoenix' sig...
Is there anyone here who doesn't care particularly for the Snape/Lily relationship? I feel like it was ... I mean I knew there was going to be some kind of reason for him to protect Harry and side with the saints and earn Dumbledore's protection yadda yadda... I just wasn't convinced...

Me. The knowledge that me and Este are not alone in this thinking, makes me happy.
I am in complete denial over this part. JKR obviously thought she was channelling Jane Austen.
