I couldn't agree more with you, Tar-Dis . The waiting is one thing, but for only five measly episodes, that, from what I've read on another Torchwood forum, are going to be the regular length (one hour, less, if you don't count commercials)!!!??? I don't think so ! All I've gotta say is by the time season three finally airs, the writers and producers better have either given us more episodes or made the five we are going to see longer than normal !

Captain America? Seriously !? Oh dear ! Still, John Barrowman in a tight-fitting hero costume.....Hmmmm....., might be a lovely sight .

John is so totally right for the part. It's not necessary, but all he needs to do is dye his hair blonde and buff up a little and it's uncanny.

Really? The only pictures I've seen of said Marvel character are those of him in the red, white, & blue, ahem, jumpsuit and mask (that's mostly what the was about ), but maybe the costumers will modernize it a bit. As for him dying his hair blonde, should he take the role, I don't think he'll have any qualms about doing so, since, from what I've read, he did when he had a bit role in the most recent version of The Producers (the one with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick) .

I guess we'll see what happens !

Haha, I've seen both of those Ianto moments. That's what I do when I get bored. Look up random Ianto scenes.

I can't blame him for being flustered in that Janto scene. The look on Jack's face when he said "who do you think would win?" was just amazing.

So. We started arguing about Gwen again. Allow me to point out my favorite Gwen moments.

- Day One. So, that's how many people dead on her first day of work?
- Ghost Machine. The gun scene. Gwen's supposed to be a police officer. And she doesn't know how to shoot a gun? Shouldn't that be basic?
- Cyberwoman. The closet. So, Rhys is still her boyfriend, she obviously wishes she was with Jack, and then she ends up snogging Owen. *shakes head sadly*
- Countrycide. The 'who you last snogged' game. See as oblivious!Gwen manages to hurt Tosh and Ianto's feelings... and then leaves to go discuss her OWN feelings with Owen.
- Greeks Bearing Gifts. Instead of being sad for Tosh, she yells at her. But Gwen cares, doesn't she? 0____o
- They Keep Killing Suzie. I really do love how Gwen, apparently forgetting that Suzie is a) dead and b) a murderer, takes Suzie out for a ride.
- Combat. Gwen, who cares so much about Rhys, Retcons him after admitting that she's been cheating on him. Cowardly much?
- End of Days. She stunguns Rhys while he's cleaning the oven. Cruel. And then locks him in the Weevil cells. ...? Shouldn't she be watching him, if she cared that much? And then she sits with Jack while he's dead, like she didn't just help almost destroy the world.

- Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. "No one else will have me." First of all, this scene doesn't fit with anything that's happened so far. And then she does the cow eyes... She's horribly disgusting when she's setting Jack up to tell her he loves her.
- Meat. The holier-than-thou speech. It's even more hilarious when you go back to Combat, when she actually does Retcon Rhys. Her selfishness makes me laugh.
- Something Borrowed. Despite the fact that people are going to get hurt if she goes ahead with the wedding, she does. Because SHE has to marry Rhys, and who cares if some people die because of it? And then she would've kissed Jack. At her wedding. Janto or not, that's just wrong.
- Adrift. Jack tells her no, she demands to know, and eventually ends up ruining the poor woman's life. Gwen, who cares...
- Fragments. Hah. She overslept.
- Exit Wounds. Her grand plan for getting Cardiff back together was to have the police go door-to-door and say 'it's gonna be OK.' Sounds like that's going to accomplish a lot.


So there. That's why I don't like Gwen.
