Them some mad skills my friend. Tony Romo is very very very good under pressure, and he's very good at timing the clock, getting plays, and last minute scoring.

^ Hmm...ja, all very, very good skills to have. ^^
And this as opposed to the Redskins, who somehow just die after halftime. No last minute scoring there. It's very saddening; my brother's a huge fan, so I can't help but kind of like them, too.

Has that been the general theme for the Redskins' game? Well then they should get on it in the first half if they can!

^ Well, for pretty much all games except for the one this past week. They actually made something of comeback; it was pretty amazing. ^^
And...ja, often they've gotten a big enough lead in the first half to still win the game, but it's really depressing watching them kind of die after that. *nods*

I rarely see a football game where the one down at least 20 points would come back and win the game. Interesting.

^ Hmm...Cowboys and Giants...it might be a good game, but I predict a win for the Cowboys. I just don't think the Giants defense will be able to get it done against Tony Romo and all.

^^ I hope so too and hopefully the new debut Tank Johnson will help against Burgess.

^ Haha! My prediction was correct! The Cowboys were indeed victorious. It was a good game at first though; with both teams 17-17 for a while and all.
And then the Redskins vs. Eagles was DEPRESSING. Once again, the 'Skins died in the fourth quarter, and ruined what might have been a win for them.
Packers completely destroyed the Vikings, and I think they said Adrian Peterson is injured now...? Poor Vikings. That's not good.
And finally...I have concluded that some prayers really DO get answered quickly. I begged and wished and prayed for about half an hour last night, and yes: the Rams WON!!! I came downstairs to see how the Redskins' game was going (since the Rams games are never on), saw the score of the Rams' game in the upper right corner, and started crying for joy. Seriously.
...maaan, I really am obsessed...
I'm a bit disappointed about how many points the Rams' defense allowed in the fourth quarter, but...at least they won. ^^

Peterson was probably the Viking's only saving grace. Poor Vikings, indeed!
I still can't believe it. Rams are 1-8, wow! Lol, I bet they're happy and celebrating like they'd just won the Superbowl.
Well, I must say I'm quite happy with the outcome of the Dallas vs. Giants game and was surprised that the point difference in the end was so much. I thought it'd be a closer game, but I guess the Giants' mojo just ran out in the 3rd quarter.
Surprisingly Shockey didn't make me angry, he's usually really bad with his sportsmanship but not this game, and it was a bit refreshing.
I love Romo more than ever, he's always smiling, always. And it's really great to see a quarterback that's so "in for the game" kind of thing instead of others who are always serious and never smile unless they know they're gonna win.

^ Haha, my brother always gets so mad when he sees Romo smiling: he claims the guy's an overly conceited jerk. (Just a little biased, right? ^^)
*sigh* The only player I've ever really idolized was Kurt Warner, and now that he's on the Cardinals and not the Rams anymore I really should hate him, but I can't bring myself to. Gah! Stupid Kurt Warner.

Well, what's hard is that football's a team sport, so it's hard to single out a single player to like but hate the entire team. I've always done that with team sports though because I never have the heart to hate the entire team.
Unless they're the Seattle. [blows raspberry]
Like I really love Peyton Manning and I think Eli Manning's adorable. Who can hate Brett Favre? He's a fabulous veteran quarterback. Tiki Barber, although a bit mislead and no longer playing, had a good personality.

^ Yeah, I think you're right...
Though I've managed to hate the entire Patriots team for quite some time, even if I only NEED to hate Adam Vinatieri...
Wow, I really feel sorry for the Dolphins now, to be the only team without a win. Their last games have been close, too!

I feel sorry for the 49ers. [blank]
Wow... that was...
Wow.

^ Very true. Shut-outs are really depressing things...the good thing is, though, that if the 49ers do as poorly this coming week, the Rams might be able to beat them! *cheers* ^^
But I'm wondering...anyone think the Redskins have a chance beating the Cowboys?

I'm betting no. I think the Cowboys will win. They've been doing well so far, the Redskins not so much.
How can you hate Vinatieri? No, he's good. I like him. Usually. But to miss the field goal.... Man, if they had won my sports weekend would've been perfect. Agh.
