If they get rid of any more characters I'm not going to watch the show any more. It would make me too angry.
AND DON'T KIDDIFY MY TORCHWOOD!
That would be the worst. We have Doctow Who for the family. Lets keep torchwood for the grownups, alright?!
And I don't know if I mentioned this...The last ep. of Doctor Who actually made me like Mickey a bit more, but I still don't want him or Martha on Torchwood

The last bit of Doctor Who made me love Mickey. I can handle Mickey on the show, though he would kiddify it a bit.

I don't get how two actors who may or may not even be in the next series, will 'kiddify' anything.
At the very least Noel Clarke can handle mature, adult content as seen in his two movies Kidulthood and Adulthood. I can understand the perception of Freema, in that she's not really been challenged as an actress in that sense yet.
Either way there's nothing official about either of them joining yet, Freema least of all as this rumour about her joining the UK Law & Order seems to be legit. From what I've heard cast announcements will be made shortly. So we'll know soon enough what is true and what is false.

I don't doubt the actors, but if they bring them over from DW, then the kiddies who watch DW may want to watch Torchwood too. And it would be a shame if they kiddified it because of it.
Really, though, I'd like to see them create a new character. DW Season 4 was almost all recycled characters, monsters, and plots, which was okay, but it's time for someone new.

Exactly. I love martha, and I'm actually learning to tollerate (dare I say like?) Mickey, but I don't want to watch them over and over again in Torchwood. I want new people.

Martha turned rather boring in Torchwood. I loved the Dead!Owen episodes, but I don't rewatch them because Martha's just there taking up space. Which is a shame, because I liked her a lot in DW.
... New people, RTD. *sends brainwaves*
EDIT: While looking for screencaps, guess what I noticed?

Jack has given himself a striped mug like the one Ianto always gives him.

I bet Ianto gave it to him as a gift.
Oh man, this may seem rather mundane, but...
In bio class on thursday we were doing a lab where we measured our pulse before and after doing stair steps for three minutes, and I got to work the stopwatch! It was basically awesome. It was a digital one, not nearly as cool as Ianto's, but it was still a stop watch.
Ah, the little (obsessive) pleasures of life.

You know I was watching Fragments the other day and something hit me.
Okay, we know that Toshiko and Owen are both from London, if not from London, then at least England. In any case, they weren't in Wales to start out with. (The reason we know this is because of their accent. Neither of them sound anything like Gwen or Ianto)
So my first question is what were Toshiko and Owen doing in Wales in the first place if they didn't go there because of Torchwood. Yes, it's possible people can move but it's a bit odd they both ended up there where Torchwood Three was. And my second question is if Tosh and Owen were in London or England when they were being recruited into Torchwood, why didn't Torchwood One deal with them, instead of Jack? It seems easier for Torchwood One to deal with them since they're closer to them and they would have very different ideas on how to deal with them than Jack.

Hah, we totally just talked about this.
I understand Tosh, maybe, since it is possible that Jack was in London to start with, when he wanted to get a team. He probably dropped by Torchwood One to recruit people from there (which is possibly where he got Suzy), and he heard about Tosh.
I have no idea where Owen was, however. Did anyone catch Katie's accent, by chance? That might give us some clue of where the two of them were in the first place.

No, I didn't catch her accent. But I probably wouldn't be any good even if I did. I suck at distinguishing accents.
I had always (well, after "fragments") thought that Owen and Tosh were in Torchwood 3 because Jack had come to them and asked them to be part of his team. Jack, being the kind of guy that he is, might have traveled the distance just to have first dibs on the promising new recruits.
Tar-Dis your avvie in now the light of my life. I love it

Haha, thanks. I was looking through Torchwood screencaps, and I was talking to Ali over MSN and sent her a picture of the stopwatch, and she came back like ten minutes later with that avvie, and I nearly had a stroke.

Awesomeness! Hey, I see you've changed your sig already. Do you still have the Ianto stopwatch one? If its alright with you and Ali, I'd like to print it out so I can tape it to my wall. My pasty white dorm room walls need to be livened up.

(BUMP)
Holy frick on a stick I am so excited it shouldn't even be legal. The Torchwood Soundtrack is out! YEAH! Unfortunately though Walmart doesn't carry it so I can't but it or download it. Apparently itunes has it, but can you download somthing from itunes and put it on an MP3? I'm listening to the music on YouTube ( http://www.youtube.com/user/DTWmusic08 ) go down to the playlists and its the first one. Awesome music. But I'm sad...Every one has thier own theme, except for Ianto. Well, Gwen doesn't either, but that doesn't matter. Owen's theme has to be one of the most amazing songs ever, I'm not even lying.
I have a question...which site do those of you who live in the US use to watch Torchwood?

Ohman, I must have it. Or better, I'll tell my friend Morgan about it, and she'll HAVE to have it, and she'll download it and then give it to me.
And I use surfthechannel, most of the time. However, people totally upload them onto youtube, and sometimes it's just easier to watch them that way.
