Oh! By the way, I finally got around to watching that video you put up! I love his hair as a kid, and he looks hyper!!!!
Have you seen Flipper? That's the only other movie I've seen with him (the others sound like things mom wouldn't let me watch . . . do you know of any others a protective mom would let her kid watch with Elijah?) but there is major Elijah hair going on there!

Oooh! Aerli! Watch 'Forever Young!' It's a film Elijah was in with Jamie Lee Curtis and Mel Gibson, and it came out in 1992 when Elijah was eleven or twelve. Mel Gibson plays a man who asks to be cyrogenically frozen in time for one year in 1939, but he is forgotten about and is accidentally awoken by Elijah's character in 1992. Elijah hides him in his tree house and tries to teach him about what he missed during the years he was frozen. The man later sort of starts to fall in love with Elijah's character's mother, played by Jamie Lee Curtis. And, even though he was frozen and starts out looking the same as he did in 1939, he starts to age and they have to figure out why. It's a really cute movie! And pretty clean, as I recall. According to IMDB, it is rated PG for "mild language" and some kissing and stuff. Do you think that would be okay?

Yes, I think that would be fine! Is the kissing more than Aragorn and Arwen? I've seen movies with language - I don't like it, but if it's not too much, then it should be fine!!!

I've never heard "You are my sunshine!" I can't wait to see it!!! Does Elijah have the cutest voice ever? I read that he takes professional singing lessons and piano lessons!
I take piano, but I'm too scared to song in front of anyone (except my closest friends)! I'm considering asking Mom to let me take singing lessons just because I want a pretty voice! Hopefully, I can get over the fear of it!

Yes, his voice is adorable, but since he was so young in this film, I think it was before the singing lessons. XD And the kissing isn't any worse than Aragorn and Arwen, I believe. There is one scene where Elijah's character sees his mother being hit by a drunk boyfriend, but I think it's pretty brief. If you want, I can see if my college's library has it and sort of "pre-screen" it for you so I can give you more detailed info about it.

You've NEVER heard "You are my Sunshine?" O_o Are you sure? It goes "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey. You'll never know, dear, how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away." Elijah sings it to a little girl he's got a crush on. ^_^

Haha, no problem! And it's not just focused on kissing and domestic violence. The movie mainly focuses on the friendships that form between Elijah's character, his mother, and the man from 1939.

I need to watch more movies with Elijah too. Green Street Hooligans is next on my list. <3

Oh my gosh, Lex! I'll definitely pray for your friend. People should NEVER text and drive--they made a law against it in my home state, but I don't think they have one here (I'm going to college in Indiana) because I've seen people do it.

There's too much sadness going on in this thread. We should all watch LotR to cheer ourselves up...
