It's good, except that they put Adar instead of Ada. But I suppose it just adds to the joke.

Ok, I've just thought about a new discussion topic:
If you were in Arwen's position and had to face the decision between immortality and a life at your lover's side, would you act like her or would you never leave behind your family and everything familiar because of a lover?

I would probably go with Arwen's decision cuz you know you would miss your family but think about your going to make an new family with one you love!!!!

If I were in her situation, I would try to make seeing the family and being with my lover work out.

Yeah, I think I would act in a similar way, because it's hard to leave your family behind.
Btw: Sorry that I didn't post here for so long, but I couldn't post anything for a week....

I think I'd make the same choice as Arwen.

I think it was a really hard decision cause you couldn't see your family at all, though if they wanted to, they could sail to Middle-Earth and see her. It's sad Elrond never got to see his grand kids.

I was randomly searching through the net today and I found two dialogues that are allegedly taken from the original script that saw Arwen as a warrior in TTT and were deleted later. Here they are:
ARWEN - HELM'S DEEP
ARWEN has defiantly arrived on the eve of Battle. ARAGORN has just discovered the identity of the cloaked archer.
ARAGORN
(surprised)
Arwen!
ARWEN
I came to fight.
ARAGORN
This is madness! Your immortality will not save you from an Orc blade.
ARWEN draws her side sword.
ARWEN
I can look after myself as well as any Man!
ARAGORN reaches for ARWEN'S sword.
ARAGORN
Give me that!
ARWEN holds the sword point to his throat.
ARWEN
A soldier never surrenders their weapon.
ARAGORN
(angrily swatting sword out of the way)
You are no soldier - in two hours this place will be besieged, crawling with orcs!
ARWEN
I have lived through worse.
ARAGORN
You know nothing of war.
ARWEN
I know about loss.
-END-
ARWEN: EXT. RIVENDELL VALLEY - NIGHT
ARAGORN (to Arwen)
Your people raised me as one of their
own. I cannot repay them by taking
away their brightest jewel...their
Evenstar
ARWEN
Did you come here to fill me with
despair? It is the mortal trait I least
admire .
ARAGORN
I came here to try to make you
undertsand...Arwen, you must return
across the sea and dwell with your
people in Valinor. It is the way it
must be.
ARWEN
(frustrated)
My life is with you, or I have no life!
ARAGORN SHAKES HIS HEAD
ARAGORN
(quietly)
No...
ARWEN
(frustrated)
Oh, you stubborn....Man!
What do you think about them? How do you like them? Had you prefered it if they were included in TTT?

I'm happy that they left these two scenes out. They deviated enough from the real plot in the movie already!! When I first heard that Arwen may have fought at Helm's Deep, I thought that that was a little bit much. I'm happy that they didn't include them.

Yeah that's true, for she really wasn't known as a female-elven warrior. So if they didn't include those scenes I'm glad...
