Half of the time, they'll forcast something but you'll get something different. Plus it changes very quickly around here, you're lucky to get a mixed bag of weather sometimes.
*laughs* I don't even pay attention to the weather channel anymore...

Yeah, in Montana...the weather is SO freakin' unpredictable.
We practically have our own climate.
It makes no sense...not till you've lived here a while. But, by then, you KNOW to pack gloves and a hat in your car for ALL year round.
Although, in the winter, when WE think there's a warm spell, most people around the country would think we're nuts. If it's winter and above 40 degrees, we wear shorts. XD
It snows in June and sometimes July. Gah, we just have bizarre weather here.
Quote: Our lovely state holds the records for the most rapid temperature change in the US (-32F to 15F in seven minutes at Great Falls International Airport) greatest 12 hour temperature change in the US (63F to -21F in Fairfield) greatest 24 hour temperature change in the US (44F to -56F in Browning) and the lowest recorded temperature in the lower 48 (-70F w/ no wind chill in Roger's Pass).
Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
We have a saying, "If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes and it'll change."
There's also another one, "Spring time in the Rockies" which basically means, be prepared for ANYTHING. And when I say anything, I MEAN anything. XD

Not really, it all depends on where you live.

Oohh! Can I join! I'm American, even if people at work think I'm not Ohh well....I'm sort of from the Great State of Montana I was born in California, but I've lived here in Montana, for err....16 years. So yeah. But MB, is so right, weather here is nuts. I remember when it snowed in June (at least I think it was June) all the trees had leaves and it was nice, and then it snowed, it looked like it was a war zone, trees were toppled all over the raod...it was amazing. Anyways.....

Here in Illinios the weather can be a bit crazy. I the summer time the driveway is hot enough to fry an egg, and in the winter it will freeze on contact. Even this spring has been whack. For any of you who follow astonomy: There has been a new planet discovered that might be able to sustain life. The temper would be "About the temperature of a Chicago spring" Some one thoughtfully pointed out that "The temperature on that planet could be any where from blisteringly cold to melt-a-popsickle-in-ten-seconds-flat hot." Of course, the weather hasn't been that extreme, but its definatley more on the flux than last year (stupid global warming)

Or where your heritage is.
I'm Irish/Welsh/German/Prussian... and I love to read up on Ireland... cuz I'm Irish.

It's rainy now.
OK, yesterday, the weather report said it would be a high of 56, but it turned out to be more like 80.

But instead of reading, I'm just learning the language It's quite fun. I like it better than French or Spanish. (no offense meant, Porteuse de l'anneau)
