Thanks Aramel, I'm overwhelmed!! But see, I'm the kind of person who gets overwhelmed and paralysed by the choice of fonts given only on Words standard fonts!
I think I'm gonna be newbie-ish forever!
How do you guys ever decide?

Jey and Jefferson are both good. Cezanne (love ), King and Queen Font, Mutlu Ornamental, Monkia Italic, and Fely. (Monika and Fely are slightly less scripty.)

Thanks for joining, everyone!
I haven't posted here in a while! *is bad founder* So, I've recently discovered the ridiculously simple but oh-so-usable font Century Gothic. I think it comes with all computers, but I found it only about a week ago. I have a strange addiction to really simple fonts.

......I adore Learning Curve Dashed and green pillow. Trashco looks wicked, but I don't know if I'd ever use it. That's my problem. I go and find some awesome fonts, but I can't ever find a graphic to use them in! There should be a support group for that or something. "ATFBCUT" (addicted to fonts but can't use them)

I have some fonts, such as Vanilla Whale (a Western block sort of font), Scriptina (which used to be my favorite, and now I don't like), and Long Time Ago that just sit there. I have tons more, but there are probably too many to name. I should go through and delete some of them.
I am, too! I see something, I like it, I download it...and never use it. Good thing you don't have to pay for most fonts.

Silver, I love Century Gothic as well. Plain fonts can work on almost anything. My favorite plain font is Helvetica. (In case anyone's interested.)

Actually, a few kinds of dingbats can be good. They substitute as brushes for butterflies, pirate skulls, plants, etc.
(Love your banner, by the way.)

Well, I don't use them much, so I guess they just seem pointless to me, unless you know how to make them work on graphics. I did download one called Rock Star from Dafont, and I really like it because it has all sorts of little figures playing guitar, stars, music, etc.. that one will probably get a lot of use.
And thank you! It's a rather old banner, but I didn't feel like making a new version, so I just used it. Plus Mrs. Peacock is just too hilarious to ignore, and I felt as though she deserved a spot in my sig.

Hahah, I wish I was an IFD. Instead, I'm an EPTFWBUATUTMS. (Extremely Paranoid That Fonts Will Be Useless And Take Up Too Much Space.)
Pronounced Ep-t'fwabwa-tutmis, if anyone would care too know.
That's six syllables. O.o
Anyways, Sidewalk and Trashco are looking very attractive to me right now. But agh, I never know how to make grungy fonts work...

I am pleased to announce the first ever Font of the Month -
violation
Thank you to all who voted! SilverRose and I will set up a contest thread that centers around the font and post the link here for you all to join. And we will be deciding on two new fonts for February!

Oh too bad, we lost! (Ambulance Shotgun supporters, that is!)
I'd have loved to see people use our font!
