Thank you! Sorry about the exams.
Yesterday i started writing a fanfic i've had in mind for a while, in which various characters from many books/films (among them lotr, of course) show up at the house of a girl who's basically me. It's going to be rather fun to write. The reason i mentioned it was it involves Frodo (of course), so...anyway. I'll post the link to it when it's done. Which may not be for awhile, but still.

All right, i'll try and do that when i get it typed up. I have several stories in the works, so...it might be better not to promise anything. But hopefully i will reasonably soon.

Lady_E: I like your site, but all the sections apart from "Home" don't work for me...

Ich liebe Frodo. German. I squeaked that one in before Forever. I think it would be "Yo amo a Frodo." in Spanish. And I think that's all I know, apart from English. Pitiful, I know.
Lady Earwen, the site is nice, but like everyone else, none of the links work for me. It's a beautiful header though. Lovely picture of Frodo.
Eariel, I'm very excited to read your fanfic. The other one you posted a while ago was so great. By the way, if I remember correctly (which I may not), you said you were going to write a sequel to that. Did you ever? Because I'd like to read more of it if you did.

Yes, actually, i have written one. Thanks for asking. It's not typed up yet, but hopefully before too long it will be... Right now i'm working on a different young Frodo and Sam fanfic. It involves a kidnapper at Brandy Hall during Yuletide... But I'll let you wonder about that for now. *cackles evilly* Oooh, the suspense... lol In the meantime, there's always my friend Storyteller's fanfiction website, as i've told some of you (link: http://www.cyberrach.net/Story%20page/contents.htm) and my own lotr poetry website, which i'll post the link to for those whom i haven't told about it : http://freewebs.com/minstrelofdreams/
Lady Earwen, that looks like it'll be a good site. You'll have to tell us when it's done.
TT, don't worry about not knowing another language besides English (if i understood you correctly?)--I'm not completely fluent in another language either (tho i know some Quenya and i'm learnng French). I think it's never too late to learn new things. I always wanted to learn another language since i was little, but i guess you have to let some things happen at the right time. Speaking of language and words and so on, I wanted to let you know (at TT's request, actually ) that i've entered a contest to describe a lotr character (which one will i chose, i wonder? ). I'll post the link to it when i get my entry submitted.

That's cool that you entered the contest, Eariel. I hope you'll win something! Gah, I personally won't enter a writing contest for the next time. I entered two ones and didn't win anything and I was really diasappointed about that. See, I'm quite good at writing stories and I'm always getting "A"s in German (which is actually very difficult in Germany, though it may sound strange) and I wanted so bad to win and spend so much time on writing the stories and, well, it...sucked. (Sorry for the word here, but it's quite appropriate for what I felt like)
Anyway, sorry for the rant. I've survived it, you see.
And Eariel, I can't wait to read your new fanfic! Plz get it typed up quickly.

Lol, i'll do my best! I'm working on a different "new" one currently, though. You see, inspiration comes and goes, in waves, like the tides of the ocean. lol sorry, but that is what it's like.
Sorry to hear about the writing contests. I get disapointed when i don't win anything in poem contests. I guess it just happens sometimes. It's good you get A's, tho. I tend to get them over here.
Back to Frodo... Well, one thing i'll say is that i like the similarity between how Sam found him in the tower and how a certain Elf in the Sil found his friend when he was captured by Morgoth. (The first Elf started singing when he couldn't find the other one, who was being held prisoner above where the first one currently was. Thus he heard him, sang back, and they were reunited.) I'm planning to put a mention of that story into the fanfic i'm currently working on, with a sentence ending something like "not knowing that one day their own tale would echo it" or something like that. So i guess that's my contribution for now...

Don't get discouraged Forever! I know it's had sometimes. But if it makes you feel any better, I've really liked anything of yours I've ever read.
I think I have a slight advantage over you guys here. I never expect anything I write to win anything. Therefore, if it doesn't, I'm not dissappointed since I expected it, and if it does, then I'm pleasantly surprised. There are some advantages to being a pessimist.
I know what you're talking about Eariel. Someone was being rescued from Morgoth. The someone eventually had to have their hand cut off in order to free themself from the chain that held them to the side of the mountain. I can't for the life of me remember who the story involved. Too many names. It did remind me of Sam singing and finding Frodo whe I read it though. That's cool that you're going to incorporate it into your fanfic.

Thanks. Hmm...Was the someone by any chance Maglor...? I think it was one of those seven sons of Feanor... lol Well, i'll refrain from bopping you on the head for your pessimism, like they did in the poetry contest. Seriously, tho, maybe your hope will increase as you get better and better. I have to make this an on topic post... Well, I've been revising and adding to my fanfic lately, and it's rather fun. As well as frustrating. And headspinningly confusingly complicated. And all together wonderful. (Welcome to the life of a writer...) If you'll excuse me tho, i'd like to type up a little more of one of the scenes involving Frodo and young Sam before i get off...
