Are you kidding? That drives me NUTS! lol I just end up sitting there for a few minutes (a.) trying to piece together what the person's saying, (b.) having OCD breakdowns. -.- Yes, I am obsessive-compulsive about grammar.

I'm pretty obsessive-compulsive too - I'll see an apostrophe error and practically have a conniption! Particularly its and it's...people, it's so simple! You only use an apostrophe when 'its' is a contraction of 'it has' or 'it is'. That's the ONLY TIME. And it drives me insane when you see an add that says "Book's, DVD's, CD's 50% off" with apostrophes everywhere like they sprinkled them across the page and hoped it worked. Grr.
Another big thing for me in fanfics, particularly LotR ones, is that the characters can't walk around going, "Hey mate 'sup?" That. Drives. Me. Insane. Honestly, do you EVER hear Tolkien's characters speak like that?

OI! I agree with you all the way. Although I am slightly embarrassed to say that I used to have the 'its it's' problem... But I'm over that now. I don't have the best grammar either. I dont' bother myself, its other people that bother me when they mess up grammar...

Insanely long paragraphs make me wilt too. In writing and rping, I find long paragraphs tedious to read. But perhaps that's because I divide my rpg posts up into too many paragraphs

btw, Aerandir, I have been posting in the SW rpg ... sorry I had to be away for so long. Amazing how school sucks away what used to be my life.
LDM, when you have winners determined, are you going to post the entries for us to read? 'Cuz that would be amazing!

I chose my first character...SW fandom. LOL! She's pretty well developed, though I don't expect anything. I just entered for the heck of it.

Oh, wow, thanks for pointing that out here, Valera--I haven't been checking the Sharky's End forum recently, since all the RPGs I'm technically involved in in it seemed dead or way too fast for me.
I can't wait to read everyone else's bios for the Character of the Month thing....it's going to be a good read (unless you all did a lot worse than usual).
