I don't think I've ever met someone who's quite like him. But it would be memorable if I ever did meets someone who reminded me so much of Frodo. Truthfully, if I ever met someone like that, I'd want to marry them.

I don;t really know of anyone who remindss me of Frodo a lot either. Every once in awhile I'll see one of his qualities in someone, but there's no one that's really a lot like him, character or real person. He's Frodo. He's special.
Forever, I'm so sorry love. I know how hard friend things can be. Evanescence is definitely good for when you're depressed. Hopefully things will work out and you won't have to be depressed for much longer though. Hang in there. We love you. And thanks for saying we're nice.
By the way, please excuse the lack of Frodo in my sig now. I wanted to find some stuff that matched the stuff in my sig, but so far, no luck. I still love him the mostest though. Don't worry.

He is special. He's one of a kind in a way. I think Tolkien made him that way, designed such a character in a way that it would be impossible for anyone to be exactly like him.

Thank you TT, I already feel better!
OMG it's Valentine's Day! I guess our Valentine has to be Frodo. Or Elijah. Or Frodo. Or both.

I'm not a fan of valentine's day either. But i hope everyone had wonderful day just the same. I'm sure Frodo wouldn't mind having us all be his valentines. The more the merrier!

Lol, idon't think he would mind--might be a little bemused by our adoration, tho. But i think he'd be glad to be our valentine if it made us happy. That's the wonderful thing about Frodo--he's so thoughtful. *sighs* (Btw, TT, i see he's back in your siggy. Good for you, lol. Love your new sig, btw, Forever. And your Galadriel banner, Itarilde.) I like Valentine's day all right...it's just that i'm too young for the whole dating thing, so when i have an actual boyfriend to be my valentine i guess it might mean more to me. I still like it okay, tho. I guess Frodo can be my valentine--our valentine --in the mean time, as was said, lol.
Sorry i haven't been on lately... I've read your posts, just haven't had anything really worth saying. You see, i've recently been imersing myself in Howl's Moving Castle, as i mentioned earlier... (Those of you who wanted to see it, let me know what you think of it when you do, all right? Probably by pm. Because we need--well, i need--to get back to topic. ) lol... *huggles Frodo*
Edit: No-one has posted for quite some time! Well, anyway, i just wanted to say that i've entered a contest to write a description of a lotr character, as i think i mentioned earlier. I was going to drop out for a while, but then i decided to enter after all. So my entry is up, if you want to look at it. You can guess which character i chose. Here's the link to the thread.

Eariel, I read your description and I loved it very much (does that surprise you? I guess not ). I loved the poetic language and the metaphors you used. Good job! I'm quite sure you'll win something!
(I entered that contest, too, because i liked the idea - but my entry is nowhere as good as yours! )
I have something special for you guys. As you might have heard, there is a LotR Musical in Toronto that is being played since last year. I found a little vid from it at YouTube, that I'd like to show you. Fortunately, it's with Frodo and Sam!
I have to say, when I first heard about that musical, I was like, What a bad idea, a musical will never be as good as the movie, that's ridiculous!
But I really really liked the music in this little excerpt and well...tell me what you think!

First of all, simply beautiful entries both of you. Eariel, your entry made me remember how much I really and truly love Frodo. A very good and very accurate description of him. Forever, I also enjoyed your description of Theoden very much. He's a good character. I liked what you said about that look in his eye.... I've always noticed that as well.
I've actually been very curious about the musical ever since I heard it came out. I like musicals a lot actually. I knew it could never be as good as the movie, but I wanted to see it all the same. And I actually really liked that little scene. the song was simnple and nice and Hobbitish. The man playing Frodo was no Elijah, but I thought he was very handsome. It looks interesting. I liked it. I want to see more of it now. Hopefully it will coem to the U.S. some day soon.

I liked your entry very much, Forever, especially when the soldier understood that look.
Wonderful vid! It was quite good, even tho Lij and Sean (not to mention Peter Jackson's vision) are pretty much unsurpassable. I found another vid from the musical with Arwen singing. I'm not sure whether the other person (lying asleep on a bed) is supposed to be Aragorn or Frodo (to me it kind of looks like Frodo), so i'll post it here. Maybe you can help me out on this.

I think it's Frodo. I'm quite sure it's Frodo. Thanks for the little vid, Eariel. Though-- I have to say that I didn't like the singer's voice very much, but never mind.
TT, that's exactly what I thought: He is quite handsome. Not as handsome as Lijah, of course. But still a good choice for the musical. And he has a beautiful voice.

To me the person in the bed looked more like Sam, from the other clip, but it was definitely a Hobbit. I don;t think it could have been Aragorn. The singer's voice wasn't bad. I thought she sounded nice. She didn't look the part of Arwen at all though.
Very handsome. And you're right, a very good voice.

I do agree that it was definately a hobbit. the voices weren't bad, I didn't like the choice they had for Arwen. But their voices weren't horrible. It was very enjoyable to watch, thanks for sharing Eariel

You're welcome. I kind of liked Arwen's voice too, tho her hair seemed lighter than it ought to be. Yeah, i thought it was a hobbit, too, so i'm glad you agree. I wonder if that's when Frodo's still unconcious from the Morgul wound, when he first comes to Rivendell? If so, i like that idea of Arwen singing then... It seems to go with along the lines of it being her that took him to safety in the movie (whereas in the book it was...Glorfindel, i think).
As to the other one, i thought he did have a very Frodo-ish laugh ("Mrs. Bracegirdle's plum cake!" )...so that was nice. Also i liked the part where (after Sam was asleep) Frodo continued singing that song they had been singing, but this time about Sam. It was sweet.

You're right, it was probably this scene in Rivendell, because I can't remember any other moment where Frodo and Arwen meet (except for the wedding in Minas Tirith, of course, but Frodo's not unconscious or asleep there).
Yes, I liked that very much, too! The whole part where Frodo and Sam are discussing the never-ending stories is one of my favourites!

Wow... I haven't posted in here for a while. *hits self*
Those video's are both really neat! They made me smile... the guy did have a Frodo-ish laugh and him and Sam were so sweet together. And then I loove the girl who was Arwen's dress. Pretty.
Although it seems that a musical LotR would have a much lighter side to it than the movies or books.
