I have terrible posture. I normally stand up straight, but when I'm sitting I tend to slouch. It requires less effort.

Has anyone noticed that it's hard to compare characters based on swordsmanship abilities? Because most everyone is convinced that their own characters are the best warriors in the rpg.

True, I personally never say that because my characters usually arent the best swordmen, they just use dirty tricks or whatever they usually can. fist, boot, dirt etc

Do you mean in terms of winning or loosing RP battles or duels?
When I have RP fights I usually go with the story line, but both me and my opponants usually fight on the same side.. or for the same course one way or the other. I don't like magical fights since my characters don't use magic, but when it comes to sword play, I tend to look at the way the other responds to my moves and... hmm... mostly it's a feeling actually...

Same. The best rpers I've encountered are usually the ones who can give ground when in a fight with another character, in respect for the other character.

By the way, CotM polls close this weekend!

At this point I think Nauriel Rochnur's in the lead with "Kith."

I hope more people vote.

welcome new members! I'm not ashamed to say that without the rpg boards, I simply wouldn't come on this forum at all.

and now for the crazy question of the week: How obsessive are you with rpgs? I know that when I become obsessed with an rpg, it haunts me day and night.

WoW. I usually get so obsessive, especially if i really like the plot. It's all I think about at school going it would be so cool if blablabla happened. If it gets boring though I tend to not post as much.

I know whenever a teacher starts lecturing, a third of the time my mind drifts off to an rpg. First thing I thought when I woke up this morning was "Yes! Fantasy rpg!" (on another forum)

Meldawen, I'd say it's a compliment to your rping skills that I simply cannot tell you how many times I've sat at my computer, clicking the A-U shortcut, checking the rpg section, then exiting out in a fury with the thought Meldawen, get on already!

... in fact, I'm doing so right now.
