I assumed that Greyback has been living a long time. But we don't whether or not he attended Hogwarts, or if he went to a different wizarding school.

But would Greyback have been at Hogwarts before or after/while he was a werewolf? Because I don't think if he was there the other headmasters would have been as nice as DD was with Remus.

That's true. It could have been that he had to to learn how to use a wand and all the wizarding tricks off the street.
Which means, he probably feels more animosity towards Remus.

Yeah. Maybe he feels left out and stuff.
In HBP we know that Remus is doing an undercover mission with the werewolves. At the end of the book, Greyback knows that he is undercover ,yes? or no? I can't remember right now

I'm pretty sure Remus was present at Hogwarts for the fight and so was Greyback, so they musta seen each other. Or word could travel down the evil grapevine about Remus.

Yeah, Greyback is in cahoots with Voldie-Moldie.
I disagree about Greyback knowing that Remus is undercover.
Because even though they were both present at Hogwarts for the raid, J.K. Rowling didn't write that Remus and Greyback had any communication or contact with each other during that time. It could be that Remus was extremely careful, we don't know.
I like to think that whatever Rowling doesn't actually clarify or write as canon --- we can't assume otherwise.

True. But if Remus was there, wouldn't someone else recognize him, and then tell Greyback?

^That's one of my doubts, if Greyback knows about Remus or not.

I wasn't aware that other werewolves were there. I was sure that only Greyback was there since it wasn't during a full moon. It is possible that Greyback only meets with his werewolf followers very near to the full moon, with the exception of Greyback's right hand men.
Or maybe they did form a league and go everywhere together.
But then how would Remus get away for Christmas and Harry's birthday?

Maybe he got sent out on a mission or something. Or ya' know, told Greyback he'd go bite someone, which Remus wouldn't.
But my question is, wouldn't other evil people (i.e. deatheaters) know who Remus is by sight and tell Greyback?

I don't think most deatheaters know how Remus looks, or in werewolf form either. Possibly because there aren't taht many werewolf deatheaters.

Actually, there's also a possibility that Greyback is sheltering his wolves from the Death Eaters. It's possible that Greyback is the only one that is actually in contact with the Death Eaters --- his other wolves never meet with them.
I get a sense that Greyback is very possessive of his pack. Remus can easily make himself unknown as well --- assuming from his personality and such.

That definetly makes sense. Greyback does seem more reclusive and it seems quite possible that Greyback is the only one in contact with Voldemort, seeing as how the rest are his followers.

I think it could be.
Maybe Greyback finding out about Remus being a spy is something for Book 7th.
