^you deprived member *goes to add your name on the list* *smacks self* I'd say Eragon's worth seeing. could have done a tenfold better but could have also done worse.
does anyone else notice trends among your rpg characters? such as how they all seem to have a few traits in common?

Amongst all my characters? Well for some reasons they usually bare no greater meaning to society, they are loners and travellers and possibly outcasts of somesort

^
I've noticed that I have a tendency for angsty, solitary characters with black hair.

I have a tendency for female characters, overwhelmingly, but mine also tend to be...well...I'm not good at playing evil characters, or ones who do a lot of scheming. Basically I guess mine tend to be sort of selfless, and not very self-assured. Reading that kinda makes me realize I need to have some variety
Personally, I really liked Eragon. Some things could definetely have been better, but it wasn't a bad movie at all.

I tend to like your characters. They're refreshing yet at the same time retain a definite personality.

Thank you. An RPer is always pleased to hear her work is appreciated
And might I say - right back at you! I don't think I've ever met someone who came up with such intriguing characters, who were fun to RP with at the same time. A Jimmy post is never a boring post

I agree on both accounts! Y'all are both awesome RPers, and it is always a privilage when you get to RP with either of you!

While as my charries are probably 95% male; even though I myself am a girl. Just goes to show how much of a tomboy I am...

yes, I don't really understand guys all that much, but... I can RP them. And I do have many girly likes and dislikes. I like shopping - most of the time - I try on alot of stuff before going somewhere nice... ect. But I ussaually settle with jeans and a loose t-shirt on the weekdays.

Hmm...well, 99.9% of the time, I play canon characters. The only trend I can really tell beyond that is that I tend to play the "challenge" characters- the ones that nobody likes to play for some reason or another. Be it Cutler Beckett because he's so snarky, or Palpatine because he's just so...evil (and old), or the random guy who gets one line in the entire film (yet somehow made it back for the RPG)- that's my kind of character. I rarely choose to play one of the main heroes. I can't remember the last time I played Jack/Will/Elizabeth in a PotC RPG or Obi-Wan/Anakin/Padme in a SW RPG (unless filling in for someone temporarily). I suppose I could play them if I wanted to, but I prefer leaving them to the people that really want them and then taking whatever's left.

Wow, thanks for the banner, Jimmy--it looks great!
I hate my writing style....I'm stuck in a character rut, so I personally feel that my characters lack depth....they're all inherently the same sort, with the same personality. I have a hard time keeping a consistent abnormal personality for one of my characters, even if they're supposed to be a lot different than mine normally are.
So, do you guys think my characters are kind of shallow, and basically copies of each other but with different looks?
It's kind of funny, though, Jimmy....all of my best characters are the ones who have black hair.
