Unfortunately, I'll be leaving tomorrow for 3 weeks to spend my vacation in Greece. So I'm really sorry I won't be here - I'll be missing you guys soo much!

Eepness! I can't believe we let the club get this close to abadonment! *shudders* But "thag you very buch" for reviving it Eariel. I don't want it to be how it was when I first got here with nobody posting at all. The other club seems to have fallen out of memory as well. But perhaps it's too much to think of digging it up at the moment too.

I have been so busy this summer it's unbelieveable. I've barely been on A-U at all, and when I have it's been for very short amounts of time. In fact. I really shouldn't be on the computer right now as I've got so much to finish and it's already late, but I had to reply to this. I've missed you all so much. *huggeths*

I too shall watch the vids later Eariel. You have a knack for finding good ones. And by the way, I like the banner on the previous page very much. Oh, and smeag, I'm extremely jealous of the endless hobbit banner. I want to steal it.

I watched all three of the LOTR movies and their special features between today and tomorrow, so I'm feeling this amazing rush of Frodo/LOTR love and obsession right now. He never fails to make me cry or panic or... anything. Ugh. I find it so frustrating at some parts that I can;t just jump into the screen and hug him and help him and tell him everything will be all right. It's awful. But it's Frodo, and it's lovely. I know you guys will understand what I mean, even though I didn't explain it very well, since you are fellow Frodo-obsessed peoples.

Forever, I am very jealous that you are going to Greece, but I wish you a wonderful and safe trip. I want to see all the pictures when you get back. And let's have some wonderful Frodo discussions too.

Yes, Eariel, I meant the banner with the Cirith Ungol scene. Mmmmmmm.... shirtless Elijah. I know I probably shouldn't enjoy it seeing as how hopeless and tormented and scared he is in that scene, but I can't help enjoying the sight of half-naked Frodo.

Well, i can't deny that i know the feeling... I don't think it's too horrible of us (at least, i hope it isn't) not to mind seeing him in that state of dress...or...undress, as the case may be... I mean, we do still sympathize with what poor Frodo's going through at that moment (or any moment, lol) and our love for him is based on something much deeper than physical appearance. I don't think it's wrong to appreciate physical appearance, tho...lol I think i'll leave this topic here, as my face is getting rather warm...
Nice to see you, Itarilde! I'm glad whatever problem you were having got sorted out--i know how frustrating those can be. Glad you enjoyed the videos, too. I like sharing goodies i find, especially when they involve characters i love as much as i do Frodo.

And I know how you two feel about that scene too. As tragic and sad as the scene is, it is a nice alternative to see Frodo with his shirt off. The way I see it, it's just our way of finding the beauty in terrifying situation

He He. My fav. scene in book and movie was Cirith Ungol, but I believe it was more about the partnership between Frodo and Sam than either of the two hobbits alone.

I know what you mean. My fav scene in the movie is regrettably not in the book, but the general equivalent in the book is one of my favorite parts, and that way it was a nice surprise in the movie. The scene i'm talking about is when Frodo's lying in Sam's arms on the side of Mount Doom. What i love about that part is partly how you see the deep love and friendship between them...so that's kind of similar to what you were saying, i guess.
Glad you guys liked the pics. Also it was neat to hear your own thoughts concerning the Tower scene... lol I'm glad we agree we're not completely horrible that way.

Ah. All this love is making me feel all tingly inside.

Those pictures were really cool Eariel. I love seeing Frodo fan art. I'm not a big fan of manga either, but two of my friends are and they draw manga type stuff a lot, so I'm used to it and I even sort of like it. I wish a I could draw better. I started a drawing of Frodo sometime at the beginning of this year. I tried doing the pciture of him on my calendar. Sadly, I only finished half of his face before I stopped. I'm not much good at drawing. But if any of you guys have Frodo drawings, you should post them!

There are so many good Frodo and Sam scenes in LOTR. I love the scene in FOTR by the Anduin when Frodo tries to leave and Sam goes with him. And also the scene in the movies in Osgiliath where Sam saves Frodo from the fell beast. So sweet.

I like those scenes too, Starlight. Glad you liked that fanart. Sometime i may post some Frodo drawings i've done... Haven't drawn a lot of Fropics lately, tho...for soem reason... (Btw, i would encourage you to keep drawing if it's something you'd like to be able to do. It takes practice, and it can be rather hard and frustrating at times, but you shouldn't give it up if you want to be able to draw. It's worth the difficulty, i find. )
On a side note, I turned 17 today! w00t!

Happy belated birthday Eariel!
My favorite scene between the two of them would have to be towards the end of TTT when Sam starts to tell that story and it sort of revives Frodo's confidence about what he has to do and it also revives their bond.

I enjoyed all the Frodo drawings! I'm not a big Manga fan, but the ones you picked were really nice. My favourite would be the second one with Frodo and Sam.

Glad you liked the fanart. I like that second pic, too. Thanks for posting that one of Frodo you did. I think you did pretty well drawing him. The only thing would be that the eyes seem a bit too far apart, but other than that it really does look like him, so good job.
I liked that video--thanks for posting it. It seems to fit how we feel about our dear blue-eyed hobbit...or, his real-life counterpart...
