Okay. Jealous much. That's really good for a first blend. My first blend ever... failed. To an extreme level of failingness.
But that's very pretty. In fact, it's better than many people's not-first blends.

Of course you can join, Lothiriel-Maetharanel! Welcome!
Shadowcat, you have Photoshop right? I am wondering, for your banner, did you use a color layer and darken it to get the effect of the peach on the banner?

Actually, I just got PSP about a month ago.
The peachy color is really simple. It's just a peachy color fill layer set to Multiply. I think there's a Multiply layer setting in Photoshop, too...

I was thinking something exactly like that.
Multiply and Darken are practically the same thing, but, I believe, Multiply is harsher/more effective. However you want to put it.
Guys.. we really need to enter some more of these contests. I have been noticing the contest section lacking lately. I took the initiative and entered Shadowcat's contest last night, and I am hoping to enter some more either tonight or tommorrow night.

I want to enter contests, honestly, but I'm SOOO busy in RL that I hardly have time to come on A-U at all, let alone make graphics for competitions, and I'm soooo behind on my claim too

What has everyone been busy with?
I know that mine has just been last semester of high school.

*claps for Darky*
I promise to vote in yours, if I haven't already. Even though it may not be tonight.

I'm currently in the process of making an Icon site, since they seem to be the only thing I can make decently. I'll post the link once I get most of it done.
Here's the URL, i don't have much done, but feel free to browse.

That is very cool Darky. =]
I really keep staring at that contest AE, and I keep meaning to join it, but I never actually find myself making something.
Do you all perfer making graphics based off of movies/tv/etc. or stock images?
