"Bride and Prejudice" sounds cool! Maybe I'll find it somewhere!

Can I join?? I love Pride and Prejudice, both the movie and the book.

Oh, I've heard of it, and I hear it's pretty good, but unfortunately I've never actually seen it.

Yep, black and white, 117 minutes with Olivier as Darcy, Greer Garson as Elizabeth and Edmund Gwenn as Mr. Bennet from 1940.
As we've all read the book and seen at least one movie, I assume I'm free to spoiler?
This one has my favorite version of Lady Catherine confronting Elizabeth.
If you haven't seen it, I suggest you try the local library or keep checking tv guides...I've seen it twice through my PBS stations.

Wow, I didn't know there was another version! I'll have to try to see it sometime.
I'm listening to the '05 soundtrack right now. *sigh* I love it, it's so beautiful.

*is jealous* we don't have any P&P version in our library. Well, my friend and I watched them. Maybe I'll find the 1940s one somewhere.

9 versions? Gee, that's a lot. I have heard of that one from the 1940, but I have never seen it.
About Bride and Prejudice.. Is it in English then or is it just the songs?
