You're welcome, Darrel! I, too, think Keira is beautiful. Welcome, Chooser, to our club. Our current rivals are the A-U Gentle women Society. By the way, on the subject of video games, I play Guild Wars a lot now. Sometimes I'll play Warcraft III or Battle for Middle Earth. Darrel, I heard Oblivion is quite something. Might check it out.

What's the number of our group? 16? Something like that....Anyone read any good books lately?
(To the gentlewomen visitors: I personally think of you girls worthy of your title, therefore I will apologize for past offenses against your titles. But not to split hairs but a gentlewoman is also a female servant but I doubt that applies to you)

Whoa! Red Alert! Methinks we have some impostors in our midst...
The evidence seems to point to Shaun:
Haldir o Lórien wrote: oh yes ... Shea my bad daughter has done something very sneaky
Mommy approves, dear
Shea wrote: *bows deeply to all males reading this* if only you knew what I DID! *laughs evilly* mwah ha ha! *teehee*
Shea wrote: that would be horrible! but i'm the one who got Shaun to join, he's a really good friend of mine, sometimes when we talk, its like we share a brain or somethin'!
And in the welcome thread, all the conspiring girls welcome Shaun...a few too many ";)"s in there for my taste... Shea, leave us in peace! it also points to Haldir: Haldir o Lórien wrote: yeah and i'm really good freinds with Glorfy too .. 'tis me who got him to join A-U in May
Leave us in peace!
I'm currently suspicious, but not placing charges against, the remaining recent enlistee.

(Yes, girls, I have read every page of your club. In light of that, I hereby give my consent (for what it's worth) for you to _read_ ours. But not to post! )

Well, just to put in a good word for the females of the forum, since you guys all are mad at them or something. And I joined this forum in May...this Society was formed in June or something, wasn't it? I have no idea about Shaun though, but he's one new member, that's not a sudden influx.
Anyway, yes, Caunion the Frost Lord, I've read The Rise and Fall of Hitler lately. It's a really good book actually...I was surprised at some of the information they presented in there...and it really engrossed me. How about anybody else?

Really, I don't see the point of creating a fake account just to infilrate here. They can come in and see what's going on...Plus if they post something that has nothing to do with guys, they'll lose their disguise. So please don't point fingers. But admittedly the girls are like the media....they read what they want to read and never stop to look at the broader picture...including my post made directly to them.

Not specifically, but what they did (and Glorfindel is HoL while Shaun is Shea; they've been positively identified) is considered showing you gentlemen disrespect which IS against the rules. (Also discourteous, and courtesy is a primary mark a either gentleman or gentlewoman) We are dealing with it now.
Valar is a real guy, though. He's know to us for a long time.
Sorry this had to happen. Enjoy your club. Hopefully you won't have any more unpleasant surprises like this.
*goes out door and shuts it*

Aye, all is settled. Isn't it about time we drop this war? Personally, I think girls can not exist without boys and vice versa. Neither could mankind. So I, for one, wish for the battle of the genders to end.

Thanks for clearing that up Ivreniel.
And it was just a friendly rivalry, but I agree, neither gender could live without the other. Fact of life, and survival isn't it *coughs* moving swiftly on...
Yes, I think you should take a look at Oblivion Caunion. If you want to get an idea of the Elder Scrolls games, or your comp won't run Oblivion, buy Morrowind. It's a couple of years old now, so it's cheap, but is still a good game. Here is the link to the media section where you can view trailers and the like for Oblivion. http://www.elderscrolls.com/downloads/media_movies.htm (the 'one week to go' countdown video shows some of the stunning scenery and graphics. And I can vouch that it really is that good! )

Yeah, I can't seem to find a copy of Morrowind so I guess I have to wait until I can save up to buy a good video card and other electronic stuff to get Oblivion. Plus I like waiting like five months before buying a video game to let the price go down. Anyone here have an iPod or a model of it? I got an iPod mini and speakers with a clock for it. I love it!!!

One day off, and I'm far behind!
I've just finished reading a great book - Kamienie Na Szaniec ("Stones on the road" in english) story about a couple of polish students who formed in '40 (ww2 times) a youth resistance movement. Quite sad book, eventually everyone die in their last action...
Both Elder Scrolls are awesome! I'm currently into Fable - it's a RPG too, and it's really great. I like the idea with ageing of characters.
And by the way, I don't want a war between males and females... that'd be completely useless and silly.
(@ girls reading this: Really, We love you all! )
and @ Ellie - will do! (banner)
