We could stick to our old ideas and post cute Frodvids if you like. Can't think of anything else right now.

I think thats a good idea. I may not do that right now, but I wanted to bring this topic back up. And to let my fellow A-U-ers know i'm still alive, since i haven't been on here lately...
Edit: Here's a nice one I found. It's set to Pale by Within Temptation.

I will watch that in a little bit, but I am a little crunched on time right now.
But.. from my weird mood....
I think a good topic would be how Frodo would be in our world.
Like, what do you think his profession would be?

That's a good question... Something involving researching and writing about history, maybe? Since that's kind of close to what he did (tho i guess that was more Bilbo's thing). His profession might involve interacting with other cultures--maybe he'd be an ambassador (spelling?). I think he's naturally a peacemaker, so that might fit. He's rather quiet and introverted, tho, so his profession probably wouldn't involve too much of interacting with people--he's good at it, but I think he'd need some time to himself. Anyway, there are my thoughts (or some of them).

I do believe you all will like that I have continued the story of "The Diares of Ruth Ann Underhill" after a few months of not posting in it.

I don't have very much reliable access to a computer right now (my family's on vacation), but i thought i'd go ahead and bump this, and let you know i'm still alive, and haven't forgotten you (or Frodo). I posted a few days ago in the other club, btw.
Love your siggy/avi, smeag! Maybe when i have time i'll check out the new part of your story.
Edit: My 1300th post! Cool!

waaa now that is summer I won't leave this club for months, I promise!!
I missed this club so much!!!
so hi again Eariel, FF, smeag and nice to meet you hobbit_fan
also, Eariel, I think I agree with you about the professions that Frodo could make if he lived in our world...also, about it, I have a pic that made me die when I found it:
it's elijah wood on the minas tirith set, but, also, I mean, he's wearing the Frodo wig and...he is frodo in our world!!
I'm crazy I know, but I love that pic XD
it's nice to be back

Hi Revenge and Eariel, I'm glad to see you!
Yes, I know, this pic was one of the first ones I found on the Internet when my LotR obsession started - I immediately printed it off and since that day I carry it with me in my pocket. It's incredible to see this "mix" of RL and Middle-earth - plus, his smile just kills me everytime I look at it.

Ha, Frodo as an ambassador. I like that idea. I don't think he was too introverted, after all, he talked to the elves when everyone else was scared to. And he most definitely would be a good peacemaker.
Great picture Revy! Frodo in our world..

We should start our own Frodo website.
