*huggles Estë*

We've been putting up decorations 'round the house, but I don't think we'll put lights up outside til next week or so. We're not even out of November yet, so 'tis much too early. I think Mum is going a little crazy with the tinsel.

Has anyone bought a tree yet?

^^Yeah, let's buy a ship instead! A Christmas ship!!!

Just bought our tree earlier today. I'm the only one strong enough to carry the tree in our house :-D I think my mother is hanging up the lights and later, we'll do the ornaments.

No, I have no idea why my mother bought it so early....oh, well....I think it will live if I look after it. I'm like the plant saver in my house. The plants only live because I maintain them. My mother, on the other hand, is a plant bane, though I doubt she is intentionally. She just doesn't have the time to water them and take care of them.

Aww.. Frostie, our little gardener! I'm sure you'll take care of that tree just fine, and it will live all the way up til New Year. :)

I think it is a bit too early to put decorations up but neither do I like leaving it too late, as then Christmas comes and goes so quickly. I think were getting earlier every year, but it's usually convenience that causes this.

I do hate people decorating their houses too much on the outside. There is a particular close near me, that have already had their decorations up for 2 weeks, and I know from past experience, they haven't even started yet. It is like a competition between them all every year. It looks so tacky. Lights and wreaths is one thing but inflatable homer simpson's??

I thank God every day for living outside of the city. I've seen some of the things people put up in their lawns and it's quite ridiculous. Most of the things they put up aren't even Christmas related at all. It looks like rubbish and it shouldn't even be up at all. Hmph! :disgust:

Christmas is becoming so commercial nowadays. It makes me sick.. :(

Ewww, inflatable Homer Simpson's, I'm lucky not to haev seen any of those around.

For some reason, we already have our tree and lights up! (lights and tree went up today :-))

My parents will be out of town, in and out, for the next three weeks, which is why my mom did it SO early this year.

We generally leave it to 2 weeks and a half before Christmas. But i like having the tree up now, it gets you in a Christmasy mood. :-)

We also bought this huge wreath at my church, and I keep hyperactivley telling everyoen in my hosue that is smells so "coniferous" because we have a fake tree, adn dont actualyl have that pine smell anywhere. :-p
