I really like all the PotC, but anything by Hans Zimmer works, really. Lol.

There was a sad lack of this club earlier, and I know that many A-Uers love soundtracks at least as much as contemporary music (sometimes they overlap, which is always cool), so it was determined that the sad lack of this club should be remedied. So. The requirements for joining are simply that you state your favourite soundtrack and your favourite composer. ^_^ My favourite soundtrack is the Gladiator soundtrack, which is scored by my favourite composer--Hans Zimmer. I would love to join too. 
It's been over a year since I've downloaded The LotR soundtrack and I still have it on my winamp along with many other soundtracks (for example the Gladiator OST. I just love "Now We are Free". Lisa Gerrard and Hans Zimmer are a very good combo, me thinks. )
Besides, now since I've become a bit anime- addicted I have zounds of OST-s on my player Favourite composer. Hmm... [s]I think[/s] Definitely they are more then just one. I really love Hans Zimmer's and Howard Shore's music, because it's really touching your senses. |

Lol, awesome. But...Melda...since I started this, I get to claim the spot of "Ultimate/Greatest soundtrack nerd" Hah!
I probably won't, as I'm sure others (such as PotR or Phoenix) know and recognise more soundtracks than I do .

I'd like to join! Well...favorite soundtrack. Hmm. After the LotR ones, I would say PotC, Moulin Rouge and Phantom of the Opera would come next.
However...my favorites have been known to change. There's just too many soundtracks for me to choose a favorite...

I'll join! Um... I'd probably say my favorite composer is James Horner. I love his music! Favorite soundtrack... something JH most likely. Titanic, maybe? That's probably so cliched, but the music is gorgeous. |

I MUST join this club! I am a soundtrack FIEND. Like, seriously, you don't even understand. XD Way more than half of my music collection is soundtracks. I kind of obsess over soundtracks.
And there is absolutely NO WAY I could choose a favourite. Because it all depends on my mood, and the kind of music on the soundtrack, and what it's from. I will say that Howard Shore and the LOTR soundtracks OWN all. 
So let me join!!!!!!

LOTR is up there along with Sweeney Todd and Kung Fu Panda ^_^ |

*joins* I rather enjoy soundtracks, immensely actually. Favorite soundtrack? LotR for first place, it's amazing, every time I hear a certian instrument it reminds me of a place in Middle Earth, Howard Shore did an excellent job making them that way. And the beautiful lyrics in both Elvish, Old English and English are gorgeous, the way they blend into the orchestra and become part of it. The Pirates of the Caribbean soundtracks are also amazing, they're one of the few soundtrack songs I can actually dance to. They have enough contemporary rhythms in them to make it possible. My friends think I'm crazy. I'm also madly in love with the Band of Brothers soundtrack (Michael Kamen), Elizabeth the Golden Age (Craig Armstrong) and The Ironman Soundtrack (Ramin Djawadi). |

Welcome to the Guild, guys.
Lol, I think something like 70% of the music that I listen to and own is soundtracks. I'm moving to the USA in August, and I expect the number of soundtracks that I own to increase dramatically upon arrival, too, due to increased availability/accessibility. ^_^ |
