I Don't even usually like anime :lol:

But I'm completely addicted now! Kaname is interesting, but though he has a 'good goal', really has his merciless moments. For example, he only lets Zero live because of Yuuki, not because he's such a nice, empathic guy. He loves Yuuki. He dislikes Zero. He'd have no problem killing Zero, but he doesn't want to lose Yuuki, so he doesn't. That's a pretty much selfih way of thinking. He's not exactly your cliched perfect character, but the fun thing is that he sometimes does seem that way

And I'm a huuuuuge Hiou Shizuka aka The madly Blooming Princess fan. She's just an amazing character! She seems evil at first, but she's actually one of the most emotional, loving characters. She's called mad because the other vampires think it's insane to a) fall for someone else than another pureblood b) grieve about it c) listen to her heart instead of the rules of the society. She's no angel though. I mean, she does murder a complete hunter family. On the other hand, the bond between Ichiru and her is one of the most touching things in the anime. She' doesn't want him to turn into a vampire because she knows what a sad existence it is. Now that's real selfless empathy.

Aside from that, she just has a really good, tragic story. Yup, definitely a fan :yes:

<center></center> Welcome,welcome to the 'Vampire Knight' Fan Club!:D 'Vampire Knight' are anime/manga series, which are created by Matsuri Hino. Cross Academy is attended by two groups of students: the Day Class and the Night Class. At twilight, when the students of the Day Class return to their dorm, they cross paths with the Night Class on their way to school. Yuuki Cross and Zero Kiryuu are the Guardians of the school, there to protect the Day Class from the Academy's dark secret: the Night Class is full of vampires. And what vampires..ahem..excuse me. So VK are manga series, written in the shoujo style. Here I must say that VK's manga is the only manga I've ever read. I got sooo fascinated by the story that I couldn't resist. I find the plot absolutely adorable: the way the author twisted the fates of the main characters,Yuuki,Zero and Kaname, is very interesting. Here I should ask the manga-readers, please, do not spoil. Anyway, I think I said everything I should have said. I'll be happy to see more VK fans around. Is episode 13 the last one in the season? Or is there more to come I'm not quite sure I'd say I was obssessed. I like it a lot and wasn't expecting to like it at all when I was introduced to it. But I found myself really enjoying it a lot. I think it was the relationship between Yuuki, Kaname and Zero that drew me in. What was going on ect.

Aha, lessee here. goes way back to a dreary day of the beginning of the vacation Which is about three weeks ago. Teh Elen was on MSN and we were talking about anime/manga. She brought up Vampire Knight, going on and on about the awesomeness of it all. So, she gave me the link to the first chapter to read, and gaspeth (lo and behold!) , reaaaally hot anime/manga guys! Okies, that was one of the reasons why I drawn into the whole VK thing. But it was so wonderfully drawn (that's a PLUS right there) and I'm sorta fascinated by vampires, so this just added more for me. And the story line sounded seriously wicked, and anyways, I couldn't stop reading as soon as that first chapter was done. But yeah, those sexy guys were like...the BONUS for me. And most of them are vampires. drifts off to la la land ish whacked on da head Owie. ... Okies yes, the most fascinating thing(s) for me is...well I should say characters XD, are...Kaname and Zero. BOOYAH! So yeah, VK = And also, I just gotta say, the VK soundtrack is like WOAH!

Oh, yes, the VK's drawing style is sooo gorgeous. Especially the eyes! I think that the eyes are very important for a character, because they determinate his/hers personality. Besides they have influence over the reader. Speaking of characters... I love the way Matsuri Hino created the personality of each VK character. Though they have super powers and so on, still there's something, that could be found of every one of us. For example Yuuki is quite energetic, Zero is serious, but still charming, Kaname is a bit scary, but loving, Hanabusa is cheerful (I just love his personality! lol He always cheers me up. ) I can continue so the whole day... Maybe this is the other thing that attracted me to VK- the characters are quite natural, though this is a vampire manga/anime. VK-soundtrack rulzzzzz! I absolutely adore "Futatsu No Kodou To Akai Tsumi" and "Still Doll". (Yeah, I can't choose which song I like better ) Hmm...maybe I should set a poll about that. Which reminds me, guys, if you have any interesting ideas for club activities, post them here. I would like this club lively. I have something in my mind, but still I need to think a little.

I was thinking on polls like: "Favourite Main Character"; "Favourite Support Character", even maybe "Most Devoted Club Member Of The Month" (not sure that we have enough people for this though. ). Yup, definitely a fan "Elen, aka the Root of All Evil", eh? I'm not that innocent as you thought after all? Kaname is pretty complicated character actually. (and that's the reason why I like him the most) He has this mysterious thing in him- even when you think, you understood what his original idea is, always something new pops in the story about him. My opinion is, that there'll will be more surprises about his personality. It's true that some of his actions are merciless, but I believe that everything will find it's explanation at the end of the story. Now about the relationship "Kaname-Zero". I wouldn't call Kaname selfish. Don't forget that Zero is a Hunter after all. Though he was turned into a vampire, he still despites them from the bottom of his heart (esp. the purebloods), and shows it in a very categorical way. I don't think Kaname keeps Zero alive because of Yuuki. I think he said it so only to stop Yagari's questions about it. I had something like that in my mind, but after I read the last few chapters of the manga I changed my opinion. Still, I don't say I have right. I guess, I'll have to wait till the end of "Vampire Knight" and check my hypothesis. Shizuka-sama is absolutely awesome! One of the best female characters I've seen till now. She was full of surprises as well. I thought she was a cruel, stone-hearted woman, who killed Zero's family just for fun. But I was completely wrong. She shows that even the "beasts in human appearance" have feelings and grieve over the once, they loved. Her bond with Ichiru is very special. She really cares about him. I'll remember Shizuka-sama with all those pink blossoms around her and Ichiru- with his endless love to Shizuka.

You're kidding me. Chapter 42 came out? Argh, I have been delinquent with keeping up with manga. runs off to read I'm listening to Still Doll at the moment. Yes, I also agree with the best opening for 'Spring 2008' thing. But if I HAD to choose I'd say the closing Still Doll (especially the orginal version) is my fave of the two.

Sorry for leaving this club for a while, guys. I was bit busy and I had to go off the forum for few days. Besides it seems that I've deleted my own post. That's what happens when I click the mouse button rapidly. So...Chapter 42 was released 12 days ago and I know I said, that manga-readers must not spoil, but I have to say that I enjoyed this chapter very much. It was dynamic and at the same time sensuous. It was worth waiting for it so long. This is all what I'm going to say about the manga. zips her mouth Some time ago Ara brought up interesting theme about VK's soundtrack. Last week I read in a Bulgarian anime site, that VK's opening was the best opening for 'Spring 2008' (and I definitely agree with this.) But what do you like better: the opening or the ending theme of VK?
