Wow..I completely missed this.

Sign me up. I wasn't a fan of Tony Stark at all till I saw the movie. It made me do a complete 360, which is a testament to RDJ's awesome.

Thanks for joining, Nellers! Now that we have some members, how about we start discussing our favorite Tony Stark scenes! My absolutely favorite drool-worthy scene is when he's in the cave pounding out the helmet. I'm sure you all know exactly what I'm talking about. :happy:

Yeah..it's a comic book mental block. I can't see him as a lust worthy object.

Hmm fave scene?

I love the scene in the Hummer or "FunVee" with the soldiers. Drink in hand...sooooooooooo Tony Stark.

The scene with the Mark II armour. LOLZ

When he got Jarvis to paint it and just seeing the suit all red and gold made this comic book nerd so very happy I almost peed.

I love that drink in hand, too. It's just so Tony. :) I love all his conversations with the Dummy. And that "It's just a flight stabilizer. It's completely harmless. *is thrown up against wall* I didn't expect that," is so awesome. :lol:

I sort of wish they had left his suit silver. He looks so much more menacing and amazing like that. But, then there's the whole "icing problem and armor" issue, so they had to upgrade it, and it would be totally out of line with the comics if they changed it. :-D

With Favreau being a fan of the character and comics in general. He knew what was at stake.

Guh Iron Man 2 should be awesome. I wants me some War Machine baybay! If not, then at least hint to it so we'll see him in action in the third or The Avengers movie.

To be perfectly honest, I don't read comics at all, and have no idea who or what the War Machine is. I feel pretty stupid right now. :-P

Of course, take this as another opportunity to re-watch the movie, Aranel! I'm afraid I'm watching it too much and that I'm going to get sick of it, but I doubt it. :) I think he looks great when he's walking though the desert all bloody and messed up, although that might just be me.
