Hello, all! This is the non-roleplay part of the Hallowfest, where we analyze clues and vote on who to accuse. I'll also keep this post updated with who died and when, with links to the RP page where the body was discovered. First guess on October 28! --- First victim: Elena Oct. 23: Clues Second victim: Anastasia Smith Oct. 24: Clues |

OK, folks let's start debating who to accuse first. The first guess will be on October 28th! Let's do some brainstorming! ![]()

Well, the piggy bank/coins obviously can be summarized as "money." Picking up on that... Things I've noticed from looking through the guest bios: 1. Elena lists "Art (especially expensive pieces)" under her Hobbies, and greedy businessmen under dislikes. Both are related to money/wealth. 2. Robin Hood. Steal from the rich, give to the poor. Obvious connection is obvious. 3. Moriel's hobbies include collecting coins. Coins were near the body. So, at the moment it looks like it's either Robin or Moriel. ![]() |

Yeah I was thinking Moriel or Robin Hood too. Mostly Robin Hood though. Although Moriel seemed a bit suspicious in her posts. But that's not really a clue... so yeah. ![]() |

To me anyways. haha ![]() Now I'm thinking it's Robin Hood though cause of the feather (from an arrow, probably) and the boot knife. Seems like something he'd carry around. We'll see... once whoever it is kills more people. ![]() |

Yes, but I was playing chess at the time. If you recall. Also, do you think I would have left perfectly good coins lying around? I think someone is trying to frame me. It's quite over the top, really. :/ |

As usual, I hate not being able to jump in with some crackpot theory. ![]() By the way, just to clarify in case anyone wondered about it, the coins don't lead anywhere in particular, they just trailed out from the body to the hall. ![]() |

Boot knife (that's very specific, why not just a knife?), coins, pink (again specific or just creative writing?), feather (a quill perhaps? part of someone's attire)... and an afternoon death.... hmm... Robin Hood sounds too obvious, the coins and the feather, the knife doesn't fit with him either. *scratches head* |

He could have purposely made it really obvious so we'd say it's too obvious and rule him out and go on accusing other people... ![]() hehe I really need to get some sleep.... then maybe I'll think of something less crazy. ![]() |

Horseman, to clear up some of your confusion: the piggy bank was only pink because a lot of piggy banks are pink ![]() I was thinking in the same direction with the money/wealth relation, but the finding of the boot knife, the feather and especially the very shiny rock changed that. Why is the rock shiny? Apparently it's not an ordinary rock, probably not used for breaking windows or doors, and most shiny rocks are also a bit fragile. |

Could be a magpie sort of thing. The murderer collects things like knives (those are shiny, I think...) and shiny rocks. Coins are shiny too. Um... but then the feather is left out of the equation... I dunno. I need more info to go on. |

Maybe it would help us to think more about what the objects tell us about the murderer, and perhaps see whether they match up with something in the character bios? They would presumably need a boot knife if their shoes muddy or dirty (they do lots of walking?), the piggy bank could mean that they like money. The feather may be from a favorite bird, but I also have no idea what the shiny rock could mean. |

OK, I still don't know about the first murder, but I think that the clue about who killed me is pretty clear (hint -- the pasta!). |
