*huggles* My favorite character is Captain Englehorn, specifically from the recent movie.  He's so cuuuuuuute.
But he disappears after they get back to New York. [makes face] |

ME!! Pick me! In also like Captain Englehorn, I didn't know what to make of his character at first but he turned out a good 'un. 
My favourite character is Kong himself followed by Ann. |

*raises hand* *jumps up and down holding a sign that says, "Save the 25 foot Gorillas" * Could I join? My favorite characters well.. I like them all but I love Jack.. and Kong Although Englerhorn, Carl and Ann were all amazing. I mean both characters and actors. Who else but Naomi Watts could have done as good of a job. She's got perfect eyes for it. Ohh, Natives freaked me out too |

Yeah, the natives were soooo creepy. And the bugs! *Shudders* I think that Pete did an absolutely brilliant job on it. It was beautiful. And I didn't object to having Adrian Brody in it.

It's really sad at the end and disturbing when Carl in the end doesn't even realize that his own mistakes. |

I know. I didn't see it until last night. But I cried really hard when Kong died. It was so sad. |

The only thing that bothered me about the movie was the length and the fact that every 'quiet' moment between Ann and Kong kept getting interrupted by guns, airplanes, bullets, Jack Driscoll, T-rexes, etc. |

Lol. I was totally fine with the length. My mom doesn't think that Kong was in love with Ann. I don't get that. |

Ok I have to say a quick note on the Bugs.. I went on Saturday to see it again with two friends who hadn't seen it. And when the bugs came on screen, from just the centipedes to the whole bug infested valley everyone was like cringing in the theater, and some woman behind us was making weeping noises, I was trying not to laugh, because it isn't as bad the second time Kong and Ann well you know, if their moments didn't get interupted Ann couldn't be the cause he died for? Oh and I hated how Carl was so horrid towards the end, with making Baxtor be the "hero" and some blonde chick be Ann... that keeps making me mad at him, thought Jack Black was amazing! (suprisingly) |

Yeah. I still hate Carl for that. But Jack Black was really great. I got soooooo freaked out by the bugs. I was so freaked out, but not as much as the other people in the theater. Some woman went NOOOOOOOOOO when the one guy got eaten by the leech things. And when Jack was covered with crickets. It was.... slightly odd. |

I never liked the natives in the original, that dance they did and the msic scared me, so it was nice to see that same scene on the satge when Kong is reavealed as the 8th wonder of the world. The natives in this film were really not nice, didn't like them one bit. I;m not one for being squeamish but there were some bits on Kong that made me go "urgh". The bit were Ann's inside the log and there's this really big insect centipede thing trying to get in her mouth..ewww...but the worst bit was poor Andy Serkis. That was a nasty way to go. Another thing I found with this film at some point I just couldn't look at the screen. There was one part of the film were it was just bad thing after bad thing that happened. A series of really unfortuante events, and I was like holding my hand in my hand and going "oh god not again". It was painful to watch, not because it was rubbish but because I really felt for them and wanted something good to happen. |
