I adore her, she's such a strong woman. She saw her father brought back home, dead, she saw her mother die in cause of this, she went to live with her uncle and had to see Grima poisen him, her cousin died, and Aragorn had turned away from her, he wouldn't even accept her ride with him.
I think, she rode to Pelennorfields out of two motives: First she wanted to help her uncle and brother, and she saw no possibility to help them if she stays in Dunharrow. Second, she didn't want to live on alone, if Éomer and Theoden die, so she decides to ride with them. I think, she expected to die. She didn't want to live on. And that's still the problem in the Houses of Healing, when Aragorn had healed her. She still doesn't want to live on until ...
She meets Faramir! He is the only person who has the power, strength and the heart to heal her. And he does.

Oh, sry, I wanted to post as well... I´ve probably forgotten. :P
I gotta agree with you - she was a strong and a spiritful young woman, yet she faced such sadness in her life [all that she loved, except for her brother, died, she was brokenhearted] that her desire to live was gone... I sorta feel like her, even tho I´ve got all family alive and well... lol don´t listen to me. She rocks because seh´s always herself - strong, truthful and beautiful. :-)

Well, I really want this Fanclub to stay alive, but i can't do this alone!!!! What are your opinions on Éowyn, did she really want to kill herself on Pelennor Fields?
