Honestly, I'm beyond obsessed. I'm absolutely fanatical over this newest 'series' created by that genius, Joss Whedon (most of you know him from Firefly or Buffy the Vampire Slayer.)

So in short, this three-part series follows the story (via 'blog' posts and flashbacks) of supervillian Dr. Horrible... all in musical style! (So lots of sporadic bursting into song.) Dr Horrible is repeatedly hindered from joining the Evil League of Evil by his nemesis, Captain Hammer... and the series follows his attempts it a confusingly comical fashion.

It's humorous. It's tragic. It's romantic. It's ...random. You honestly don't want to miss this. It's worth the purchase from iTunes, I promise. (And there are *cough* less honorable ways of viewing.)

Props to Whedon for making this during the <i>horrible</i> (npi) writer's strike we all remember.

Yes! Yes, I'm obsessed with Dr. Horrible's blog too! I've watched the whole thing several times, and watched individual songs even more. It's great!

I've heard about it a lot. And I'm REAAAAAAALLY interested in seeing it. I was going to see it when it was first put online but I never did.

It looks SOOOO brilliant. And why wouldn't it be? It's frakking Joss Whedon! Epic win he is.

Lenya: Yes, I want to buy it too!! Someone has already put the songs on myspace, and I've memorized them, even <i>Brand New Day</i>. What was your favorite song? I think mine is <i>Evil Rising</i>.

Nurr: BAD HORSE !!! Epic character. At the very end, when we finally see him, I just keeled over. I mean... I guess I was not thinking, but I didn't expect him to, um, be so literal.

Oh yes, favorite quotes? I love, "What a crazy random happenstance!" as well as "The world is a mess and I just need to rule it!"

Finally watched that a few days ago. Very funny. Liked the end with Bad Horse.
