Ok, HSM is... rather lame, but I... kinda want to see it. Some of my facebook college friends have seen it... hmm.

Okay... HSM has thrown me into a state of perplexion.
It's stupid. I'll gladly admit that. And, it drives me crazy how people are so obsessed with it. How they want to imitate the charries... or the actors. Like, okay, when my sister starts saying "I like it when I curl my hair slightly, so it looks like Gabrielle", something's wrong. I don't think the movie should be immitated. "But, hey, you're right, I'd rather have my kids (ahem, if I had any ) watching stuff like that than the more violent, or teen/adult things" I sort of agree with that... and sort of not. I mean, violence is violence. People, sane people, don't imitate that. While, people will imitate HSM. And, I mean, it's not always that innocent. I mean, it's cleaner then so much, and, obviously, it's rated G... so nothing happens... but, I mean, in the 3rd, Troy climbs up to Gabrielle's room at night, and they're there alone, without her mom knowing, for quite some time. I mean, that's something I wouldn't do... and yet, they subtly have it in there... uner the guise of innocence because "nothing happens". ... moving away from that. I think that, in it's place, HSM can be viewed as a very cute/sweet movie... and a good way to just... turn your brain off for a while, and enjoy music and dancing... and some cute parts. If you blow it out of preportion, however, into the "phenomenon"... I'm just reminded about how stupid it really is... and can't see it as cute.
Anyway, it probably doesn't even deserve this kind of thought.
PD, I didn't say that! ... did I?

He does that in the first one too. He knocks on the door and her mom answers, saying G doesn't want to see him, and then he goes into the backyard and sees her window/balcony... so he climbs onto her balcony and calls her, and she's talking to him and turns around and sees him standing there, watching her... that's creepy. Freaking stalker!
I like a few of the songs from each movie.

Oh yeah... I forgot about that one. I mean... I dunno. It's the hero of the movie, the heartthrob, who's, well, let's face it, perfect in the eyes of everyone, and yet he's doing that... and it's so subtle too... not like violence or anything...*shrugs*

i used to love these films but now i think they're seriously over rated. the acting is terribly corney and just ... not good.
good for the kids i guess but i think as i've gotten older i've just lost the will to watch them aha
