*squee* They're making the Alex Rider series into a movie! (well, movies, but they're only working on the first one right now) With Andy Serkis and Ewan McGregor, no less :-D (as Mr. Grin and Ian Rider)

More here: www.stormbreakerthemovie.com

My only complaint (so far :P) is that Alex Pettyfer - *points to avvie* - looks a little too old... and Damian Sayle looks really weird  Nadia Vole is... odd... too. But aside from that, everything looks great :-D

Well I'm a big fan of the books, but I have a feeling I won't like the movie.
For one, it's rated PG....which is a bad omen for me.
It's just that I have a bad feeling that they may have watered the movie down to much for kids.
Another point of that is the Books Tagline was "Your never to young to Die"
And they changed it to "Your never to young to Spy" for the movie.
Now, that might just be me nitpicking....but it seems like they may be making it more Spy Kids then James Bond.
(Which it shouldn't be)
And I'm not sure if the Trailers come online yet....

But... I thought it hadn't ben rated yet? :confused2:

Anyway, the site has what it's calling a trailer, but I don't think trailers usually have camera crews in them... :P

Well it might not be set in stone yet.
But as far as what I read at the Stormbreaker boards, PG is what they're aiming for.
But I certintly hope they're wrong about that, lol

I agree!! I hope they won't do that mistake that they do the movie more for kids!!! It would be stupid if they make that like Spy Kids :confused2:
