Simon is a good judge.

Although some of his sarcasm goes a little to far and is out of line, it's kinda been that way since he has first been on the show so if you audition you just need to be prepared for it. That's the music buisness. So people getting offended need to get over it.

Simon's honesty is good. It is quite refreshing actually. I'd personally would want him to judge my singing because he would actually give me an honest opinion. Some people who audition need a blunt answer-"it sucked." And if singing is really important then they'd fix it by practicing or taking voice lessons. His criticism, however rude it may seem, is in the best intrest of the singers, especially if they plan on doing it for a career.

Yeah, same here. I mean, it is good for contestants and auditioners to know the truth, even if it's not that great sometimes, and Simon speaks nothing but the truth. But sometimes he can go a bit too far w/ his remarks. He's really brutally honest, which can be good, but can sometimes be bad. He can hurt or offend people w/ what he says. If only he'd just tone it down once in awhile... but other than that he's a good judge.

I think Pop Idol was the original American Idol before S/C took it over to the big U.S of A

Awwwwww, poor Lisa!!!!!!!!! She was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome!!!!!! Maybe if she picked a better song she'd have gotten more votes... oh well, too late for it now. Atleast she was gracious and excepting. Wow, this season is getting really painful when it comes time for people to be voted off. Imagine how extremely painful it'll be when we have to pick between the final 2 contestants, or even the top 6!!!!!!
