I saw it before and it was really sad. I was eating dinner while I was watching it and surprisedly I didn't throw up. But my food got wet and salty because I cried a couple times.

Actually I loved it!
It was indeed really sad and depressing, but I thought it really showed the human hatred and what it can do to people. I thought it beautifully done despite all the violence, and bloodshed.

yeah it pretty much portrayed the sadness and hardships that people had to endure all because people were forced to take sides ...

I watched it on a plane flying from Newark to Stockholm. I think I flooded the whole airplane with my tears lol. I absolutely loved it. I can't believe it actually happened. We must never forget!

That was an AMAZING movie, it was beautiful. It was SO strong and powerful, maybe too strong, it made me cry like....oceans. I saw it at night, and couldn't sleep that night, i was so afraid and sad, and to think it was all true, all that fear...it was terrible.

I saw this a couple times and I LOVE it! I don't like it because of all the terribleness, but I like seeing how self-sacrificing that guy was, and it really helped hit home how terrible things are in some parts of the world. It really made me want to work to help people in Africa I seriously cried like almost the whole movie!! The song the little kids sing at the end that is playing through the menu on the DVD makes me cry! And it's just a song!
I made this blend a while back the night after I saw it...I was inspired
I think everyone should see this movie (at an appropriate age) to see how hatred can go so far. It really made me realize how terrible hate and prejudice and racism are. I'll never forget this movie!

I saw this movie in French class last year and loved it. Yes, it's sad adn depressing, but the story of the main character and his wife is at the same time very inspiring.

I haven't seen, but I do want to. We had Romeo Delaire come speak at our school, who spent time in Rwanda. I heard that he was portrayed as incompetent and...I don't know exactly but that's unfortunate. He never claimed to be a hero, but when he came back to Canada he was extremely disturbed and went crazy from his experience there. He recieved no support from anyone while there. So, I guess I should see the movie first, but it isn't entirely historically accurate...as with all films. It's more about the awareness, because the situation in Rwanda was very tragic.

Oh wow Beri....but, even if it isn't very historically accurate, worst things probablly happen in Africa right now, like in Sudan for example.
Gilraen, that is a VERY nice blend. *applause*

Yes, Mrs. Gamgee, you say it right. It really did happen.*sigh* We need to pray that that sort of thing does not happen again.
