I just came back from the movie.
It was not cheesy at all! I really liked it. The guy who played Superman was good, and Kevin Spacey as Lex Luther was fantastic! The little boy is adorable. I think you will like it. ^_^
Yay! I finally saw this movie. After kind of being...skeptical...I forced myself to watch it. Although, my strange infatuation with Kevin Spacey and his character, Lex Luthor, may or may not have had anything to do with it.
Ha ha ha. I thought he was brilliant as Lex! As Rumil said, FANTASTIC. As was Brandon Routh. I think he played a brilliant Superman/Clark Kent.
Actually, his resemblence to a young Christopher Reeve was uncanny and a little unnerving. Ha ha ha. And that little boy! ACK! SUCH a doll! I have to say my favourite scene was when he was in the hospital and ran up and kissed Superman on his forehead! Nearly died!

Kate, and James, and everyone else...Sam Huntington (ha ha ha) all did great jobs too!
I'm not what you say, an avid Superman fan. But I have grown up with him...especially the TV series "Lois & Clark." Ha ha ha...I always loved that pun.
Ha ha ha....though I will say it is a bit aggrevating and frustrating when it's SO obvious. But that's what makes it fun.
I suppose everyone is too busy oogling at Superman to realize Clark isn't there. Anyway, just thought I'd say I enjoyed the film very much!
