Sound of Music is excellent! One of my all-time favorites! I am currently living and working in Salzburg, Austria where the movie was filmed and I have seen several locations from the film already :)

*listens to Defying Gravity*
I know this song by memory along with amny other Wicked songs.
Unforunately I've yet to see it.

Favorite musicals?
lets see:

Wicked
Moulin Rouge (obssseeeeessiooon)
Phantom of the Opera
Grease
Les Miserables
The Sound of Music (wuv it)
Chicago (awsome!)

I'm having brain damage so i cant think of anything else.

I didn't particularly like RENT....too many gay people. x_x
Nah, I mean it was allright, adn i did shed a couple of tears, but it seemed almost pointless, story-wise.

Eru, you've seen some of the on-location places?
That's so awsome!!

I saw POTO...that one is awesome...but it scares me a bit.

I adoooored RENT. I saw it in NY and it was just sooo well done. i didn't mind any topics discussed in it...cuz I agree with all of the views displayed :) When Angel dies in the show it is seriously more beautiful than in the movie.

Same here!!!!! I wanna see it sooooooooooo bad!!!! I especially wanna see it in London within the next month, cuz Idina Menzel (the original Elphaba, featured on the original cast recording!!!!) is reprising her Tony Award-winning role over there!!! :-) She's only there till the New Year, and there's absolutely no way humanly possibly that I could get over there by then to see her. :'( What I wouldn't give to see THE Idina Menzel live...

Yeah, his death is much more beautiful than in the movie. I saw RENT on tour earlier this year. My friends and I all waited at the theater for over 5 hours, but then we got rush tickets - front row!!!! Twas pretty much the loudest show I've ever seen live, but it was still absolutely incredible!!!

omg i want to see POTO and wicked! ( i also wouldn't mind seeing a chorus line)

yeah i have to agree that angels death was better in the movie. i saw the show in atlanta, GA and the whole thing during " without you" was good but the whole death thing and the weird sheet light thing was kind of weird. i mean it was good but i like that part better in the movie.

Thanks Ms.Gamgee, but believe me, I've been trying to find some cosmic way to get over there from New England for the past 6 months, actually, (ever since I found out she was going to do it) and I still can't possibly get over there before she leaves at the end of the year. Pretty much the time when I might possibly be able to go to London would be in at least 3 years (after I graduate high school)!!! :'( Yeah, so I've resorted mainly to searching and scouring YouTube down to the core for any (illegally) recorded performances. Oh well.
~Mrs. Bloom~
P.S. Although there actually might be an extreeeeeeemely slight chance for me to see Wicked on Broadway sometime next year!!!!! It probably won't happen, but we shall see in a little bit of time... *plops down and waits*

- West Side Story
- My Fair Lady
- The Sound of Music
- 1776 (I'm in it this year. xD)

I met the guy who wrote the music for Wicked. He came to one of my choir's concerts. =D

OH! And how could I FORGET? Best musical of all time - the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode Once More with Feeling! =D (I'll take Even's word for it - I've only listened to the music so far. But teh songs are AMAZING.)

OMG I HAVE GREAT NEWS!!!!!! I thought for sure that I told everyone on here, but I suppose I didn't yet. So here it is!!!

I'M SEEING WICKED ON BROADWAY THIS APRIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *freaks out* After years of waiting, the time has finally arrived!!!!!!!!! I'm soooooo... excited to see Julia Murney as Elphaba and Kendra Kassebaum as Glinda :-), but at the same time I'm sad that I was not fortunate enough to see THE One & Only Idina Menzel as Elphaba in London. :'( Now I most likely will never get to see her play Elphie, cuz she's most likely never gonna play her again. *cries* But besides that, I am sooooooooooooo unbelievably excited to finally get the chance to see it!!!!!! :-D
