I hope to see it soon, i heard it was really good :)

And Hugh Jackman is awesome!

Yeah! I saw it! The Prestige was absolutely awesome! One of my favorites. It's the first time in a few months I have actually seen a good movie. Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale were very good. I liked Hugh Jackman the whole time regardless though, the ending was good but a little disapointing. I had expected something else to happen, but oh well.

This film made my head hurt. :P It was partly because my friend and I were the only ones in the cinema so we kept on talking and coming up with theories part-way through, and trying to predict it.
And it took a while to figure out who was who and sorting out the whole three different time lines and where they fitted in with each other.
I actually found it very confusing - it took much longer than it normally takes me in a film to realise just what the character's names were. Being able to discuss it helped keep track of who was who and what was happening...

I thought it was very clever, though. I did really enjoy it in the end, though there were parts of it I didn't like - just with the whole people dying and getting hurt and I'm not a big fan of lots of suspense... I'm not very good with coping with suspense. It scares me. :P

I watched it with my friend and my sister about 2 weeks ago...I think. It was good! I also found it rather confusing too and it got me rather tense since you wouldn't know what the result was with every trick they performed. I actually jumped up a few times at several parts. Heh, I'm not really good at taking in suspense.
But all in all, really good movie  All three of us really liked it and it had absolutely superb acting. :)

I so wanted to see this movie! I guess I'll have to wait until it comes out on DVD unless I can catch it at the dollar theatre.

I loved this movie! Every single scene had a breathtaking and surprising part to it, and the last ten minutes of the film was one twist after another! Ugh! But it was so confusing! lol

I saw it last night. It was surprising.. slightly confusing but the idea and the plot was clever!
It took me some time to get the plot in the beginning and recognize who was who and wanted what, but then I was drawn into the twisted plot.
But I still have a couple of questions about the movie... would anyone still be interested in discussing it?

Well, how did you like the ending? I found it a bit long... and it got too.... whattosay...unrealistic in the end... like the plot got winded up in its own twists too much...

SPOILER WARNING

Imagine being so dedicated to one's art... I understand that Borden could be it... but to find someone likeminded.... I mean if i got it right, Fallon was actually living half of Borden's life, and had been for a very long time. And he was the one who ended up in jail... Great last word... Abracadabra! Owh and the scene where they need to cut off Fallon's finger... ewww, too brutal...

SPOILER WARNING:
Well, the movie is probably inspired/based by the book, which if is possible...is more confusing than the movie. Ha ha ha.

I enjoyed the ending. I kind of figured it out...I can't remember when, but I figured it out before it happened...well, JUST before the reveal. Not the reveal at the end...but before that. Bah, I'm confusing myself now. :P So, I didn't find it...long or confusing. Well, not really. For some reason, I grew to really dislike Hugh Jackman's character...so I kind of ... morbidly speaking, enjoyed it when Borden confronted him. So, I didn't find it that unrealistic...or long. But that's my opinion...and let's just say...the ending of the book is far crazier. ;) :P If that's possible. Ha ha ha.

Oh, the cutting off of the finger. *dies* Oh, I had to look away. Talk about dedication, eh? And speaking of deditcation...you have to be very committed to go to jail and die for a magic trick. But in the book as in the movie, it's addressed that they, the brothers, were so committed that even they got confused sometimes about who was who and such. More so in the book...but yeah.

Well, yeah, I sort of figured out the plot as well before they revealed it, but probably because it was so long, lol. I mean... overall I liked the movie very much, and I thought the idea was brilliant, and because it dealt with the theme of magic and illusions I was willing to bear with 'unrealistic' things to some extent. But... I don't know... when Angier was dying and... I mean... did he have a double too, because... that... well... that was wierd...

He did...well, they found that one guy...who looked just like him. I can't remember what happened to him.

But then, he had that machine from that other guy..that made like exact replicas of himself. I don't know, I got a bit confused with that. :P But they like kept them in those...water tanks. Drowned them, I suppose. Gah, I only saw it once...so I really need to see it again. Ha ha ha.

See and that's where the 'un-realism' kicked in and the more I think about it the more.... I think... because when I watched the movie, I just went with the plot and accepted it, but now I'm thinking of explanations... even though it's a movie you shouldn't think so much over, it'll just spoil it!!

Okay it finaly came out to dvd and I got to watch it. What can I say? It was awesome. Um, I thought that that was one of the best front and center casts that I have ever seen. Hugh Jackman didn't disappointed one bit (as I allready knew that he wouldn't ;)), Scarlet J. was pretty good, and Christian Bale...I'm sorry that I questioned his acting skills. That man can certainly act. He handled his role Very nicely...Hugh is still my pick by far but Christain...not too bad at all! Oh, and I really liked Sarah's actress (I'm sorry that I don't know her name). She really was the one that I didn't expect to be any good...she surprised me to say the least. As I said one of the best front and center (main) cast that I have ever seen. Then the plot was great. It had me guessing for nearly the entire movie and really had me confussed for awhile. I give it two thumbs way up all the way around!

(spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen it yet...which is probabley very few. (sigh))
The only part that I didn't like was when Hugh's character Robert died. :( I mean I get that maybe he was supposed to be a not nice guy but come on it was Hugh Jackman playing him. (sniff) I didn't want them to kill him!
