PHEER ME.
In my absence I have become ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED wiht Lost.
So...AHHHHH...the season has stopped until the 24th! What does a poor Lostie do?
Rant about what's happened, of course.
1. CLAIRE HAD BETTER NOT DIE. Honestly, everywhere I go I'm hearing that she's the next to go. NO. Not after Charlie just died to save her and Aaron! And she hasn't even found his list/ring yet! *sob* Plus...she's really not nearly as depressed as she should be.
Things I want to see from Claire:
-her discovering Charlie's list/ring
-talking with Desmond about what happened
-breaking down upon finally accepting what happened so that Charlie can get the mourning that he deserves from her (finally!)
-learning she's Jack's sister
-NOT being killed. Ever. (I admit, I might be able to live with Claire dying (that's a big 'might') but it would have to be FAR AWAY and after we feel that we've come to a finishing point with this character. Now is not a finishing point!)
Phew.
2. Okay, at the end of Eggtown I totally thought that Kate did something dastardly in order to get Aaron. I was just ridiculously, insanely angry at her. All I knew was that AARON HAS TO BE WITH CLAIRE and somehow Kate had messed that up!
I have since realized why there are plenty of reasons that Kate may end up with Aaron in a perfectly acceptable way, having to raise him in Claire's stead for various reasons. (Claire can't leave the island, she dies, etc.) But still. It is going to take a bunch of Claire-Kate-Aaron bonding for me to be okay with with Aaron's change of fate.
3. OH. MY. GOSH. When I first starting watching Lost I had decided that Ben was the creepiest, most insanely insane villian ever...now in addition I believe that he is incredibly witty, clever, and overall AWESOME. I mean, I still don't 'like' him, as in I'm not rooting for him.
But I does loves him.
Ben is so amazingly quotable!
4. I loves Desmond. I know this is totally random, but I do. <3 The final scene of the Constant was so incredibly moving, and it is definitely my favorite episode of the season.
5. Jack annoys me. How does he kiss Juliet and 'choose' her a few days after telling Kate that he loves her? Besides his poor leadership skills...I mean, one would think it was a bit obvious by now that the freighties are not ecactly here to help. I mean, I love him, just as much as any other character (except Charlie. and Desmond. And Claire. And...) but I am annoyed at his stupidity sometimes...and the fact that his stupidity guides almost everyone else's fates!
6. Locke seems insane and bad sometimes, but...I don't know...somehow I feel like he's the one that's going to be on the winning side in the end. Perhaps it's because he's inching toward a partnership with Ben. Perhaps it's because of his whole mysterious island-connection-Jacob thingy.
I don't know. I don't like the murderer, but I think that I might have gone with him during the split...
7. Michael on the boat was totally obvious. Still, it was interesting to see his story...though I want to know more about Walt.
8. Juliet=eh. I don't trust her, but I don't hate her. We'll have to see about this one. (Anyone else think that she might die before the end of the show?)
And now for my wacky theories.
1. Danielle is not dead. She can't be dead, as we were promised a falshback episode sometime in the near future. My money's (hypothetically) on a 'life-flashing-befpre-your-eyes' sequence as she lays dying in the jungle (or elsewhere, perhaps.) Karl, however, seems to be gone.
Poor Karl. I hardly knew you.
And I like where this might be going with Alex. I would like to see her take on a larger role as the series continues.
2. Ben knew that Karl and Danielle were going to die. The Others may not be behind the shooting...but gee, isn't it strange that Ben sent Alex off with the two people that he wanted to get rid of, and then told her how to save herself in case of capture?
3. I like Skate. I don't like either of the characters involved very much, but they make a good couple. (Although I also suspect that Sawyer might die before the end of the series. He gives off 'I will eventually sacrifice myself' vibes.)
Eh...there's been more that I've been thinking of, but I'm getting sort of tired now, so...more Lost later.

What is with that man anyway? And what "supernatural" powers does this island have that it won't let Mike die, and Whitmore wants to find it so badly?
