I am practically up to date with LOST! YIIIIIIPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEE!! I'm not going to go into technical plot details, as you're all miles behind me, but here are some of my thoughts. 
The Constant (A Desmond episode) -
Ok, it has to be said this is my least favourite of the 4 episodes I saw. LOST is confuzzling as hell but this was a bit too much, even for LOST. I think once we saw more of the time-laspe it will make a bit more sense, but at the moment it's sort of weird and alone. BUT..... I ♥ Desmond and Penny.  I have always loved their pairing but that phone scene *SQUEE* it was the most lovely thing I've ever seen on LOST.  *boots out Kate and Sawyer* Des and Pen are my favourite LOST couple ever and that entire scene is one of the best from all four series "I love you Penny, I've always loved you, I'm so sorry.... I'll find you Des, no matter what, I'll never give up... I don't know where I am but I'll come back to you.... I promise, I love you..... AWWWWWWWWWWWW 
The Other Woman (A Juliet episode) -
NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! Ben you misguded person what are ye doin'? OMG, what about Annie? What about me? What about any other female that isn't Juliet?  And what? You made your infatuation sooo obvious?! What kind of intelligent Other-leading people person are you? What was with the one-on-one meal? Even my brother said outloud "why's he so happy?", when you practically skidded to the front door to greet Juliet and skuttled back to your kitchen to your lovingly cared for meal. 
[Ok, rant over. It was great to see more of Goodwin as well, and it was neat to see a bit more of the Others homelife. I also liked the fact it was confirmed that Penny's dad was the Others enemy, as it proved a theory me and my brothe had, had for a long time]
Ji Jeon (A Sun/Jin episode) -
All I can say is. NO WAY. Jin's gotta still be on the island with the rest of the Losties. His date of death on his grave was the day the plane crashed so we know that's not right. The whole Jin-with-the-panda-scene was hilarious, and it confused the hell out of me, as I thought originally it was because they had both got back to the mainland. 
Meet Kevin Johnson (A Michael episode) -
This was an awesome epsiode, and it was unusual as well, as usually flash-backs/forwards are interspersed between real time, but this really was basically Michael's flashback episode. Awesome. Yay for the Tom! I loved Tom (and that is the only thing Swayer's done so far that I condemn him for - he didn't need to shoot Tom) and wow, he's gay. I read a while ago the actor had read people were wondering if Tom was or wasn't gay, so he played him as he was just to keep them wondering, and then we find out it was actually canon. I'm glad it was just on the cheek though, watching it with my brother and all, might have been awkward. 
And I've seen 7 of the 13 mobisodes as well. I know they're meant to clear things up but I'm still as confused. You should read about them on Lostpedia, especially the one where Ben and Jack are playing chess. It's hilarious all these crap theories people have come up with.... "when Ben takes the pawn, it symbolises he's going to give Jack a haircut... when Jack takes the bishop it mean's he wants cheese for supper". XD

Heh, I'm behind like JF. Hi JF! We can catch up together. Life has been so busy that I haven't seen anything beyond Kevin Johnson....
What's this I hear about someone with my Daniel!?!?!??!?! *Nazgul scream* the episode recaps I read didn't mention anything about this!!! Someone, please, someone tell me!!! What's up with Charlotte and Daniel?! I swear, if she just hurts him one time... 
JF: Oh, I have to agree with you on that Des and Penny scene! C/C are still my favorites, but omgsh, Des and Penny are too sweet. I cried so hard during that scene, probably one of the most tender Lost moments ever. It made the rest of depressing Season 4 worthwhile.
And I wanted to kill Juliet. But anyway, Ben's infatuation was okay with me, just because it was awesome to see him go from being adorable, cute, teenage-crush like puppy eyes Ben to obsessive, possive, "YOU'RE MINE." Oooh. That was so awesome.
I thought Tom being gay was kind of an interesting development too, though an odd one.
And I've given up theories. For good. I'm just watching Lost for Lost now... and who cares what's going on, because whatever I guess will only be contradicted a couple of episodes later anyway. _________________ <center>

OKAY.
Onto last night's episode. (Spoilers beyond this I suppose)
In true Lost fashion, WHAT THE FRAK IS GOING ON WITH LOST?!!!!
I am SO beyond being confused, it's ridiculous.
I mean, Locke's "father"??? WHAT THE HELL?!! (By the way, I still hate Locke, but I kind of felt bad for him in high school. XD)
AND DUDE. The hospital guy. 
And then CHRISTIAN?! And what is my CLAIRE doing in that CABIN?!!!
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON??? She had better not be dead. I swear to god. If she is dead, I'm gonna scream. And they SERIOUSLY need to STOP IGNORNING our Claire!! *HMPH* Because I am SOO confused at this point.
But HEY! Sayid and Des were present in this episode! Crazy *beep* goin' on on that boat. WHAT THE FREL!? And then Des STAYS on the boat. *cries* Ain't nothin' better be happenin' to him.
And how on EARTH did that damned helicopter get to the island BEFORE Sayid???
And what's this about MOVING THE ISLAND???
Oh, and by the way Hurley/Ben is LOVE. Pure and simple. Ben was complete and utter genius throughout the episode as always. As was Hurley.
But that scene at the end with the candy bar!!!
I about died. CUTEST THING EVER. *SQUEEEEEEEE*
Next week though.

Are you kidding? I loved Claire in the cabin with Christian. The smile on her face was completely amazing.

LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Moving the island? Ridiculous.
Oh, and Hurley's 'theory' as to why the three of them could see the cabin was awesome.

Of COURSE we haven't figured out what happened with Jack's dad! He simply appeared with no explanation...AGAIN.

Dude, we don't know ANYTHING about what the hell is going on with Claire. She's had like 5 lines this ENTIRE season.
Tar, I LOVED that look on Claire's face, but I'm worried about WHY and HOW she got there. If you know what I mean. 
And I doubt we'll ever figure out what's going on with Jack and Claire's dad. *HMPH*
Yeah, Hurley's explaination was brilliant. Hurley is THE greatest on the island now. Seriously, he's THE best.
Except, I don't think he's crazy. Not as crazy as Locke that is.
Oh, and I loved the look on Ben's face when he saw Locke find Hector's body.  He was kind of like, OH FRAK. But then what was this about him saying "his time is up" or whatever??? *eyeballs Ben* _________________ "So what? So plenty!"

Ben staring that candybar down was HILARIOUS. ROFL.
This episode was insane.
What is up with that guy at the Hospital with Locke? And that other guy who "tested" Locke when he was young? They are freakeh. And Locke's picture of The Smoke Monster when he was little. That was interesting.
Keamy is getting very annoying. But did anyone notice the Dharma logos on the booklet he was reading? And what did he put on his arm?
The whole timeline thing with the doctor was also confusing, but interesting.
I don't think Claire is dead(She better not be), but I have no idea what is up with Christian Shepard.
How the heck does Locke plan on "moving" the Island? Through time maybe? The Whole Doctor plot seemed to support the whole time travelish theory. And Desmond staying on the frieghter was a bad idea, I think.
And Keamy killing The Captain...Woah.

Okay, time for my post-episode rant.
AHHHHHHHHHHH. Honestly, this has to have been the BEST episode this season since the Constant! It explained virtually nothing but the look into Locke's past was so interesting! AFter the episode all I wanted to do was go online and figure out what people thought about it.
So--
Interesting to know Emily Locke was a teenage mother, makes sense. Now there's a LOT of similarities known about Locke & Ben's births; premature, not raised by mothers, etc. Seeing Richard Alpert was really cool. Still got no idea who that guy really is, but he definitely has a certain...prescence. I wonder why Locke wasn't supposed to choose the knife? Probably had to do with the fact that he was still wanting to be a 'superhero'.
And what's up with Abbadon?? I still don't know who that guy is except he's creepy and pops up EVERYWHERE. He has a bit of a not-exactly-human quality about him. I dunno. But he suggested the Walkabout? Strange--I guess Locke wasn't always such a spiritual person.
And now that I've put off talking about it for a moment--OMG CLAIRE. What is going on with her? The way she looked in the cabin...her relaxed, almost smug expression, like I-know-something-you-don't-know...it was very...un-Claire-like. It was way creepy and cool and interesting, but the Claire we know was not entirely there. Either she's dead or possessed by the island (or something) or way wacked out on account of being with her father, but Claire would NEVER leave her baby unattented in the jungle.
Desmond, pleeeeease don't die.  I'm hoping that staying away from the island was a good decision for him, but I'm so scared with Keamy blowing off heads every other second.
Speaking of Keamy, what do you think about the weird device strapped to him? A bomb, perhaps, or something that sets one off?
Ben + Hurley + Chocolate = AWESOME. I loved that scene so much. I think Ben is going in a really interesting direction, sort of stepping down for Locke. When he said..." I used to have dreams..." it was VERY interesting. And his line about destiny made the episode.
Last note: MOVE THE ISLAND?? (I think it may involve time...?)
-->Woah. Suppose, that after the Oceanic 6 leave, Locke succeeds in moving the island to a different time. And then Jack and Kate can never make it back, or if they do, it's like in the past and a total mindblower! And they're stuck there and become Adam and Eve! Or something!!

Oh, and for the record, am I the ONLY person in this thread that likes Juliet at all? I think she's great. And she also has really pretty eyes.
And Monty, I know what you mean.
However, since I've never been a huge fan of Claire, I could care less how she got there. But if she IS dead, and THAT awesome...I might become a fan of dead Claire.
You know what I would love to see? Claire visiting Jack in the future.
Another moment that I totally loved, when Locke was in the cabin and he goes "Are you Jacob?"
And mystery person goes, "No. But I can speak for him." And lo and behold! It's Christian. That was certainly an "oh snap" moment.

As much as I don't want Claire to die...i totally agree, that would be AWESOME, and I was sort of hoping it would be her that showed up to Jack in Something Nice Back Home.
I've been meaning to do this for a while: My response to JF's The Constant-Kevin Johnson Stuff:
The Constant: That final scene is probably my favorite one this episode, perhaps my favorite ever in Lost.  Des & Penny's conversation was beautiful!!! I LOVED this episode specifically because it was so different and mind-bending, but I understand the confuzzilation. This episode also really made me love Dan.
The Other Woman: I agree, his little crush was rather uncharacteristic of Ben...but it was so cute. And being all "YOU'RE MINE!" was way creepy. Not so sure about Jacket, though. Didn't Jack just tell Kate he loved her? 
Ji Yeon: I thought the whole HA! JIN'S NOT HAVING A FLASHFORWARD trick was pretty cool, as I originally thought that he was having one. I was toally wondering what mystical island-related significance the Panda Bear had when I realized that it was a flashback.  Well done, Lost. And I love Hurley in this episode. I wonder why he didn't want to see anyone else...
(And I'm pretty sure Jin's grave is just a fake, because of the date, and Jin is still on the island; Sun is crying because she misses him.)
Meet KEvin Johnson: This was a great episode. I like how it was done; there was a lot of Muchael's story they needed to tell. And, yeah, I hadn't seen any of Tom when I saw this, so I didn't recognize him (still catching up on first season  ) but I had heard that he was thought to be gay so it wasn't much of a surprise.
