what is it exactly? I've never found time to watch it..but it sure seems popular around AU..

Lost is a show about people who have survived a plane crash and have landed on a lonely island. They try to get away from it and hope to be rescued, but soon they realise that nobody is gonna come. Then strange things happen on the island and everyone of the characters has got a secret and developes his/her own relationship with the island. Then they discover there are also other people on this island as well... I don't wanna tell you too much. It's a great show and it's definitely worth watching

Oh yeah...I remember in 6th Grade 2 years ago that my social studies teacher mentioned that show.  I did try to find time to watch, though, now I gotta figure out what channel it is on exactly.

TrueNarnian, If you are in England (or other parts of Brittian) the network is Channel 4, if you are in the USA (like me) the network is ABC, and if you are elsewhere I am sorry but I really don't know where to look.  Also there is a great thread about Lost on this board if you become a fan or are interrested. I know that I love posing there. I hope that I helped.
Well, it certainly does seem that around here Lost is winning by a land slide (thus far). So I wonder why that is. Hmm... I wonder if it might be such a hit around here because of the fact that Dominic M. (LotR's Merry) is in it.  Well, I don't know about that really though because it really is a great show...number one in the USA Nelson rating system in it's time slot...even beating out CSI NYC (I think that it is the NYC one...?). It also holds the secound most viewers in the world according to Wikipedia. It's secound only to CSI on world wide statistics or whatever you call it. So it's only makes sense that it is winning at this point here on AU. However I will agree with Kitoky that CSI probably should be up there.
