I hope they do a good job; he's my favorite character.

Woohoo, can't wait! I personally can't see how they're going to manage to cram everything into one watchable movie, but people probably said that about LotR too
The guy who's playing Eragon....um....well, makeup and wigs can do wonders, but I didn't really imagine him looking that...modern. The gal who's playing Arya didn't look quite right at first, but in one of the pictures I saw, she looked like she could be quite impressive with the right costuming and stuff.
I went to an Eragon fan site the other day - I forget the name, was something like Shur'tugal but I probably got it wrong - and they said that Joss Stone was playing Angela.
Me: HUH???? Why a singer?
Oh and I think it's cool that Chris P. wants to be a guy who gets killed in the movie. Reminds me of Amy Lee saying she wanted a cameo part that gets killed in Narnia, haha.

You are right. Joss Stone as Angela... This is all very, very wrong. I saw Angela as 30-40ish, not 18!!!!

Please don't let that be Carvahall... Please don't let that be Carvahall...
AND...
They changed the release date! Noooo! December 15, 2006 or "Holiday 2006" instead of Summer 2006

Well, if the later release date will help them do a better, more thorough job on the movie, it's fine with me, although obviously I'd love to see the film sooner than later
Actually ever since I learned that Chris P. named Angela after his sister, I pictured her as kind of youngish. Older than Joss Stone, though. I can't see why they'd cast her unless they intend for Angela to sing in the movie
Refresh my memory...where's Carvahall? I can remember every single name in LotR, but the Eragon ones keep slipping my memory. Perhaps because I've only read it once...

Hmm Joss Stone as Angela....
I was thought of Angela being kind of older...like 30ish/40ish...Oh well
(Woah! Joss Stone is the same age as me....)
Well at least the guy that is cast for Brom, looks somewhat like I imagined him
Yay! I can't wait!!!

I have read this... "This gives Fox enough time to make a great lead-in campaign for the movie and tease us a lot with great glimpses at the movie." Grr.
"Opening Holiday 2006..."
Eragon, The Musical
Carvahall is Eragon and Roran's hometown.

"Tease" is a very appropriate word there I don't want to be teased! I wants to see the precious!
Well, you know, I think there actually has been a LotR musical, so it's entirely possible that Eragon could become one Kidding!
Thanks for the geography info
